It Has Gone Down

The food is OK. However, the service is terribly slow. They took a hour and 15 minutes to bring our main courses. Worst of all, it took them an hour to tell me that they were out of the main that I ordered. It is just a burger guys. One hour of watching TV in an empty fast food restauarnt.

******* Stay away from Red Robin's Lam-burger *********

We were three and went last week for the first time to Red Robin in Langley. My wife ordered a Lam-burger with some fries and salad. The burger didn't taste right, and she told about it when waitress asked her about the food. Oh sorry, was the waitress reply.
Anyways, the problem started four hours later when she started to vomiting and all other problems. so she ended up in hospital and she is still in hospital.
I reported to the Food and safety BC, but I am not sure if they really do anything.

Ok for a Red Robins

Who doesn't love a good burger? Red Robins is just the place to go for this. I have eaten at a few Red Robins and the food at the Langley location is pretty much the same as the others. I did find the burger to be a little pinky and I had a bit of indigestion afterwards, but nothing unusual. The only gripe I had was with the atmosphere.. the lighting was wayyyy bright, the restaurant, although clean feeling, felt very sterile. It was not a comfortable atmosphere to just relax (as opposed to every other Red Robins that I have been to). But if you need your burger fix, and wouldn't mind a freckled lemonade, this place will set you straight.

Such Better Experiences!

We visited Red Robin quite sometime ago an had one of the oddest dining experiences ever, we were made to wait roughly fifteen minutes in the lobby while the restaurant was virtually empty, the service was awkward and the food very average. Our latest Red Robin experience was substantially better! Our last two visits to the restaunt we were quickly seated, service was attentive and friendly and the burgers were great! My fiance really enjoyed th A-1 Peppercorn Burger. I ordered the Bruschetta Chicken Burger (sub a veggie burger patty for the Chicken as I'm a vegetarian) and it was awesome, loved the pesto aioli and provelone, the balsamic cream was such a delicious addition, served on grilled cibatta, it was an excellent burger! Fries were hot, and the Freckled lemonade was great! We're not huge "chain restaurant" fans but overall we definetly think Red Robin when looking for a good burger and decent ambiance!

Great place for family and friends.

I too recently dined there, perhaps the same night as the vball person did. As there were an extreme amount of birthday songs going around the restaurant. I thought that was great, made my dining experience really fun. I loved how they got people into the spirit, and how the staff put smiles on the birthday boys/girls face. I found the service to be good, yes servers can be pre occupied at times, but they are busy. I would just remind them politely if I thought they forgot my drinks or extra fries, or whatever it might be. They are doing their job as good as they can, I for one would not want to do their job. Food as always was good, purely enjoyable.
I will most likely go there again, but its definitly not a place for people to go if they dont like hearing them sing birthday songs, its a family restaurant, everyone is having fun. Just get into it. If you have any problems on where you are seated, the servers are always willing to move you to a more comfortable suited spot. Again, this is a place for familys, and fun spirited people. Hooray to the staff!! you make it enjoyable for me.

Gone downhill in recent years

Service, menu offerings, and food quality seem to have gone downhill in the years since we started coming here. The menu has been scaled back and the last two times we were unable to get the mozzarella sticks - such a shame as they were delicious.

I really just wanted to say don't go in with high expectations and you won't be disappointed. OH - IMPORTANT - the fries are "bottomless" but you have to order them in advance. The server does not submit the order for 5 minutes after you request them (probably a portion control thing) so as soon as your food arrives, ask for more fries. You may get them when you're finished your meal.

Not as good as it used to be

I used to love this restaurant, but it seems to have gone downhill - or maybe it is just this location? My husband and I went for lunch and it took a few minutes to be seated, even though the restaurant was pretty well empty. The menu seems to have been scaled back - it seems like they used to have much more selection. I ordered Sprite and my husband ordered Coke - both were completely flat. We both ordered burgers. My husband's burger was cold, and mine were lukewarm. I had the 3 mini burgers, and they were super bland. No sauce or flavor other than BBQ sauce. The fries were equally devoid of taste. To the server's credit, she was very sweet and apologetic and did remove my husband's burger from the bill.

Happy birthday to everyone

Went here with some friends a few days ago and Red Robin hasn't really changed too much. Upon our arrival we could see the hordes of families dining with their kids, yes it is a family restaurant but some parents need to control their kids. The wait to get a table was roughly 10 minutes which wasn't too bad of a wait at all. The table we got was a tight fit as there were four of us put into a booth made for two people, the bar would have been a better option by far. The leftover food on the floor around the place needed some urgent attention.

When we sat down our server was Kelly, she was a very cheerful, bright, and pleasant server but was forgetful at times. Our drink orders were a margarita, two Dr. Peppers, and one rum and Coke in which everything arrived but usually when you order a soft drink you get ice in it as ours did not have any ice at all. Dr. Pepper could have used a pick me up as it was very flat and warm. No refills the entire night for the soft drinks but the waitress neglected the soft drink refills and the "bottomless" fries that were supposed to come with the meal. She did ask my one friend if he wanted another rum and Coke but not my girlfriend and I. Kelly, my dear, lose the cutesy bit and focus on remembering your orders!!!!

The food how ever was excellent as there were not real complaints, I will say that Red Robin is very consistent with their food and have never had any issues regarding it. The dessert could have been prepared a little bit better seeing that we got the Mountain High Mud Pie and the size came short of being a clump of dirt that little Johnny scooped out of the ground when he was playing construction. Last time we ordered it we needed four people to finish it, this time around it was just one, sigh!!!

The bad part like any family establishment was it was everyone's birthday that night, five to be exact and we even got to be a part of Kevin's 12th birthday as his table was beside ours and the Red Robin serving staff surrounded his table as well as ours. Having the birthday experience embalming you during your meal is very overwhelming as it tends to be annoying after hearing "attention everyone it's ______ birthday"

Red Robin left me red in the face with the forgetful service, endless birthday singing, and a booth that was like a pair of pants eight sizes too small. If Red Robin was in a bird cage someone would definatly have to clean up the mess at the bottom of this one.
