Got food poisoning

I ate here and got what I usually order, vemicilli noodles with chicken, and a spring roll, and I got horrible food poisoning. DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want to get sick. My boyfriend, who has a very resistent stomach to food illnesses also left here one time not feeling very well. But for me, I was throwing up and sick with food poisoning for 3 days. Not worth eat. Eat somewhere else.

Consistently good soup and chicken dishes

I eat here several times a week and always enjoy their food. The service depends on when you go there, though. I find their dishes to contain plenty of lean meat (no gristle or lots of unwanted, chewy fat) and their soup broth is always tasty -- I never have to add sauces for good taste. I always enjoy their chicken brochettes and I've never had a bad meal here -- I've eaten here dozens of times.

Worst Pho ever

This place looks ok, but do not be deceived. This location was previously a Pho Hoa, which while not the best pho was still fairly consistent. I'm not sure when the change occurred, but the only good change I see is in the decor. I went with a group of 7 for lunch. 5 of us ordered pho. It was terrible - tasteless, lukewarm soup and chewy meat. I couldn't understand why the soup tasted so bad. Even after putting in lime and sauce it was still tasteless. One person in our party ordered chicken terryaki on rice (weird, isn't that a japanese dish?). It looked very bland, presentation was terrible, not even a bit of green for garnish. One person ordered a bun (rice vermicelli bowl) with spring rolls. For some reason they gave her a pork brochette with it, even though she didn't order it...which would've been good if she wanted to eat meat, which she didn't. In any case, the spring rolls did not impress. In her words, they 'tasted weird'. They lost one of our pho orders, and it's not like the place was busy. Not a good experience at all. I only gave the service rating a 2 because the waitress laughed at our jokes, but otherwise the service was pretty much non-existent after our food was served. Maybe they heard us talking about how bad the food was?

not THAT terrible

It is quite hard to come across a good pho restaurant, the Pho hoa that used to be in this location was MUCH WORSE. I went here and ordered the normal noodle soup which had no meat in it just noodles and broth. I really enjoyed it actually the broth was delicious and with that i had an order of the spring rolls which tasted also very delicious. People get distracted with these because of the color of the meat but not to worry its what they season it with that makes it that color. So the service is definatly terrible but the pho there is much better then elsewhere sadly. My boyfriend had the won ton soup and he said it was very tastey as well. I can tell you some items on the menu may definatly not be worth ordering but at least they have a few items that are okay.

went there for lunch last week as we were in the neighbourhood and boy what a big mistake.First off, took 15 minutes to take order even though the restaurant was empty .Waited another 10mins to get our tea.Ordered 2 orders of house special pho and 2 orders of pho with chicken and 4 orders of the salad rolls.Came back with wrong order for the chicken pho and brought beef instead. After mentioning it to our server she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Prior to that had to walked up to the counter twice to get some more napkins after she said she'll bring some but instead she disappeared to another corner of the restaurant never to be seen again. A man showed up at our table (I presumed he is the owner) and told us he couldn't do anything about it.Came back with 2 new bowls of pho and doggy bag the 2 wrong orders for us to take home. After telling him that we didn't want it he said that we might as well have it as we were being charged for it anyways.I was stunned! They mess the order up and we get it charged to us. And to top it all of,they charged us an extra order of salad roll which the disappearing server had managed to include before vanishing again as I was bringing it up to the owner. All in all , had to pay extra $20 on top of our bill for a miserable lunch.Never again.
