Pasta Polo offers Italian and Mediterranean classics in a relaxed atmosphere.
My SO and I were down at Langley and decided to try Pasto Polo. I ordered Italian Sausage and she ordered seafood pasta. Within the first bite I could tell it was bland. Same goes for her seafood pasta. It felt like they took a tablespoon of sauce mixed with 2 cups of water and dumped it on the pasta. That's how bland it was. Same goes for SO’s pasta. No amount of salt and pepper can fix it. The portions are huge and service is decent. Disappointed, we left with 1/4 of our pasta eaten. It’s safe to say my SO and I will not be coming here again.
What a cute little restaurant! I didn't even realize it was there until a few days ago when we decided to stop in after a long day shopping. All the girls working are very nice and personable, the portions are huge, generally a good place to eat! Would recommend to my family and friends..
I came into pasta polo in langley with low expectations. Hidden just off 200 street in langley,is a little jem with an amazing staff.
I hope you bring your appetite, as pasta polos portions are HUGE! I came hungry, i left full, and I had enough for lunch the next day!
not only was the food delicious, but the service was incredible. I came with my wife and son, we were warmly greeted by possibly the kindest blond waitress I've ever encountered. She joked with our son, she was super fast, and above all - super personable. We keep coming back and hope to get her.
anyways, Pasta polo is well worth your time. Check them out!
I have been going to this resturant for 5 years and every single time I was happy.Great meal, great service.I eat out a lot and this is the only resturant that have not disappointed me.I suggest every one to go there.Make sure to try the Backed Chicken Penne with Alfredo sause. It is sooooooo delicious.
Because this restaurant used to be one of our favorites we decided to give it another try almost a year after our previous visit. We'd stopped frequenting Pasta Polo due to the poor service and declining quality of food, our last two visits proved much better! Service was excellent, attentive and quick. Pasta was cooked perfectly, sauces were well seasoned and tasty. Portions are still huge, my fiance and I usually order an appy and share a pasta dish, as two entrees is simply too much food! This restaurant has definetly redeemed itself in our books....hope they keep it up!
Very small entry-way which made us feel uncomfortable and almost jostled out the door. The restaurant itself was small, as were the seating areas. The atmosphere was casual, but the waitresses were dressed as if it were a high-class restaurant.
The waitresses were attractive and polite. The service was good, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals.

The food was a huge disappointment. The bread was OK, but came with an unpleasant, spicy sauce. Balsamic vinegar would have been so much nicer.
Only the tips of the asparagus were edible - the rest, tough and stringy. We complained to two people but nothing was done about it, and they still charged us $4.95 for this side dish we couldn't cut nor eat.
The fettucini was thin and overdone - much of it falling apart into small pieces. I had two hard lumps of pasta in mine, and a watery, skimpy, tomato-basil sauce. My husband's meatballs were surprisingly good.
We eat out a lot, but would not go back to this restaurant.
We went here for my mother's birthday and it was the worst restaurant experience we've ever had. We were seated right beside the washroom, barely enough space for the people to pass through and the door constantly hit our table. The food we ordered were overpriced for what we received, the portions are large (excluding the mozzarella sticks which was $8+ for 5 anorexic pieces.) but the pasta sauce was bland, the chicken alfredo had barely any chicken pieces, and the pizza? I had better tasting pizza that was frozen! The service was terrible too, our waitress rarely checked up on us after the food arrived, and well into our meal not once did she return to refill our glasses. One of the girls who brought out our food also spilled a glass of water, she came back with what looked like a used rag, wiped the spill and asked if she could leave it there so it could absorb the water. Not returning to refill that glass but luckily she was kind enough to give us napkins to wipe the rest of the spill ourselves. We were pretty much fed up at this point, but when the table across from ours left, the waitress there decided to clean their area. She then proceeded to wipe the table with a cleaning agent that stank of bleach, which was the last straw. We quickly asked for the cheque and left. Save yourself the grief and don't eat at this restaurant.
Been coming here for some time now, always good food, excellent portions, good prices, and the staff seems to be interested in you. Had the Mediterranean pasta last time, with an iced tea. The flavour combination is simply great. Our server was very attentive, providing us with the experience we enjoy in a restaurant. We'll be back, again and again!
I have been here 7 times {lunch and suppers}. We have always left satisfied , quality ingredients plus quality Chefs and management makes for a very successful eatery .
Staff is attentive , portions are generous and prices are more than fare .
Decor is very dated and tired .
Not a high end restaurant but satisfies my needs .
I find it's hard to find a really good pasta spot where the food is well seasoned. A lot of pasta places have very bland sauces and I have to add seasoning myself when I get home.
All of the Pasta Polo dishes that I have tried have been very nicely seasoned and I highly recommend this place to others. My favorite is the Baked Gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce, add Prawns & Chicken. The restaurant space itself is cozy and inviting.
As I approach my middle ages(38) I have begun to loose hope for the younger generation by the prevalent work ethic. The service at Pasta Polo was contrary to that. Our server was a very young girl (20 maybe) but gave impeccable attendance and in a very busy section. Her coworkers seem to support each other to this end. The food was equally good, authentic tasting and very fresh. I was here once before last summer and recall a similar experience. I am not one to write reviews but I believe credit should be given when due.
Pasta polo is just as good as anduccis and reasonable prices too. Lots of varieties to choose from for pastas and sauces. Nice quiet location too. Also a nice waitress. I had the spinach pasta with white sauce
I was very disappointed with my experience here. We went for lunch and it tasted like the 1/4 chicken we each ordered was simply reheated from the night before. Not good! It was extremely tough to the point of being inedible. Unfortunately we didn't have much of a chance to complain, as the waitress was not very attentive. We did complain toward the end and no compensation etc. was offered. I will NOT be returning!
It's great that they make their noodles from scratch -- they were quite good. Pity the sauces themselves were really ordinary. The quantities are obscene -- nobody can eat that much. I suggest smaller portions and put your money into improving the taste. Servers are excellent.
We've been to the Coquitlam Pasta Polo several times and have nothing but good things to say about them. However this Langley location is quite different.
We ordered the Baked Gnocchi, but it tasted like I was eating potatoes wedges instead of pasta. The server claimed that the long wait was because they were "making a fresh batch" but it certainly didn't taste it.
That being said, the waitress was nice and she didn't have a problem with moving us to a different table when we requested a place closer to the window so we could have more light. She also was friendly and talkative when I asked a few questions.
Although the place was dark in many places with only a dingy light over each table (maybe they were going for romantic atmosphere? I dunno). But they had these neat glass bottles filled with pasta that they used to make decorative displays. Was nice to look at.
All in all, it wasn't terrible but if you want a proper Pasta Polo experience, go to the Coquitlam location.
My wife and I made reservations at the Milestones in Langley for December 31, 2008. We planned to have a nice New Years Eve dinner, but it turns out we would not be dining there. After arriving at the restaurant and seeing it had a set menu with limited choices for the evening, we were not impressed. After talking to the manager, we told him we were not told about this when we made the reservation that morning. He said that I was wrong, and that I was told about the menu...calling your customers liars is not a good choice if you ask me. Anyways, we drove around finally deciding on Pasta Polo. We were greeted warmly at the door, and given a table within 5 minutes. The server was helpful, freindly and knowledgable. We ordered an appetizer, which came out promptly. We had the Mozzerella Cheese Sticks, breaded and fried...best I have ever had! Our main courses came out just after we had finnished our appy, and we were both impressed at portion size and appearance. We both ate until we were full, and each of us had a nice size portion left over for lunch the next day. Our dinner for 2 including alcholic bevies, appy, and main course and tip was only just over $50.00 You cant get much better than that, I will be back as soon as I can. If you are looking for great Italian food, you wont regret going to Pasta Polo.
The place is small, but makes up for it in the good food, and good prices. I say that one should go for the daily specials. The panini's are awesome, have had both. The baked pasta is to die for. Looking forward to trying the pizzas.
Myself and a collegue went to have lunch at Pasta Pollo on Sept.7.07 . This is supposedly a good Langley pasta place. However as I am allergic to garlic it turned out they had nothing but salad and sandwiches that I could have , the waitress kept saying they could make a olive oil white wine sauce. Unfortunately this sounded really bad- they could not make a simple white sauce that any cook at home could make without garlic.

Further the order of chicken my friend had took a long time to get from the kitchen. As we only have an hour for lunch I would not recommend this resturant for anyone with allergies or who expects the food to be served with some speed as it took the whole hour to get very little food.
That is refreshing to find a place to dine that offers great food with a health slant at good value. The service was quick and efficient. This is not a fancy place but it is clean and the seat are reasonably comfortable. The place was busy but not overcrownded. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish. Both arrived and met our expectation. The pizza crust is thin and the topping fresh and delicious. The pizza selection offers a range from simple to exotic. The pasta dish was tasty and satisfying. If anything the offering were overly generous, there could be room here for management to focus on improving on quality. The menu was longish too.
