My family and I like to go on walks and bike rides along the fort to fort trail and come here for some gelato. The prices are cheap and the gelato is good. However, the service is not as good. We were on a late walk and we made it to the store ten minutes before it closed. We thought that ten minutes would be enough time to choose our flavours and it was. We had been in for two minutes deciding and were almost done, when an annoying voice from behind the counter said,"Hurry up and choose your flavours, I want to go home." We looked up and it was coming from the teenage worker. Obviously it was outragious that she had said that because it was still eight minutes before closing time. We decided to let that comment go, but thirty seconds later, a couple came by the store and opened the door. They didn't have time to step inside when the worker told them that they were closing in eight minutes and that my family and I were the last customers. My thoughts are that if she weren't working by herself or the owner were there, her behaviour would have been different. After she denied the couple, she told us to lock the door, so it was closed from the outside. We also thought this was rude because she works there and she should have to do that. When she said that, we stormed out the door and went to McDonald's. We have eaten gelato there a couple times since that incident and have never seen her there. I am happy to say the service has been a bit better since. I just wish they would be a bit more outgoing.
