My partner and I just returned home from buying a 20 piece bucket of chicken, as well as a container of "mashed potatoes" and gravy from this location. In a word? Horrible. This is NOT the KFC we grew up with. The chicken was dried out and hard, there was no flavour (isn't KFC supposed to use some secret spice recipe?) and the mashed potatoes and tasteless gravy couldn't hold a candle to hospital food. The cost of this fiasco? $40.92 to feel like we've been robbed blind. After calling the location and speaking to the manager, I was told this time period (dinner) is when their chicken would be the freshest. If that's the case, they may as well close down. This bucket of chicken went down the garburator. My advice? Pass on by and look elsewhere for your chicken fix. This surely isn't it.
The worst made chicken ever. Once a year I have to try it, just in case they decided to go back to the original recipe and in the last 6 years it has been the same thing time after time. They over cook it slowly so it gets all greasy and over cooked which makes it inedible chicken. Once in a blue moon when it is not too greasy then it is so dry it's like eat cardboard. A couple of years ago I bought 2 dinners that were inedible and I called and they would not return my money but would replace the dinners. I called head office hoping they would maybe inquire about the quality going down hill but they were not interested. The people here really don't have a clue how to cook it. About 4 months ago I tied it once again. This time was a bit better but not much. Where's the batter on the chicken? and why does it always have to taste like dirty oil? I make far better chicken at home. It just too bad because I really really like KFC the way it use to be. Seriously I don't know how they stay in business. I don't walk I run away from KFC!!
