We really like Flying wedge. The staff at this location are so friendly and helpful. Its a great place to go for pizza by the slice. They offer 6 different pizzas of the day (usually at least two of which are vegetarian) costing $4.95 each with a medium drink...very reasonable. The toppings are unique, catering to a little more of gormet palatte. Definatly try the Gusto Pesto...awesome.

Last night I tried pizza from this location. It was awesome, the two staff used their please and thank you's, the pizza crust was tasty and not 'cardboardlike' like panago or pizza hut. A slice and a 16oz pop is about $5.50, but you get what you pay for. Will definitely be going back for more! They've also got an ALL U CAN EAT for $10.95 on Sundays too!

Seriously Addicted

I don't know what was going through my head this week, but for some reason I was really craving pizza. Monday: went to the movies and splurged on a personal pizza at pizza-hut, Tuesday: bought a $5 pizza from little caesars... then Wednesday night, after my lecture I wanted some late night grub and the closest pizza place was the Flying Wedge. I had never gone in before, but have found myself eying the place so I figured "why not!?"

It's a great thing I decided to go in... their pizza is frickin' fantastic. I can't even explain it. They also have great deals for students (1 slice + pop for $3.50) and they have their late-night special of any slice for $3.50 after 8pm. I tried their Thai-something pizza and was blown away... they use seriously gourmet ingredients and the taste just blows your mind. My favorite part of the pizza has and always will be the crust, and the Flying Wedge makes THE BEST CRUST! It's kind of like a focaccia bread, and when topped with pizza toppings it's just amazing. I always take my pizza to go (because their boxes are so cute) and have never been disappointed.

Sorry this post is so ADHD, but hey what can I say when my mind is blown away by awesome pizza :P Oh, the staff is very hospitable and friendly and the restaurant itself has a great vibe to it. If you love pizza, or even just 'like' it, you must try Flying Wedge at least once. Ask for a loyalty card (then register it online) and you get 5000 loyalty points which equals 1 free slice of pizza! DO IT!
