Didn't know what to eat so decided to go to Fatburger. My bf and I ordered the special, where if you get a combo, you get a free burger... I added a milkshake and upgraded to onion rings and suddenly the total came to just under 20 bucks. Ok, so it's pricier than most burger joints. But the burger was well-made and had better quality ingredients. Service was good -- quick, made to order, friendly... no complaints.
I wouldn't go often but I would go back for sure.
Have been to Fatburger and was disappointed. You can't just walk in and seat yourself. A customer needs to go to the till and order and then seat themself. The waitresses are often busy as can be expected during peak times so make sure if there is anything you need that you address it at the till or you will have a hard time getting any service. The burgers were not outstanding and I will not go out of my way to come back. I would make a special trip to Rodeo Burger when it was still open but not for this place.
Not impressed overall and burgers offer little value.
This restaurant has decent burgers, but it is overpriced and really is glorified fast-food and not a sit down restaraunt. Even though I liked my food there, I would not go back or reccomend it to a friend because it costs too much and in the end, it's just a greasy burger and you don't even get to sit down and be served at your table. You have to line up and order and pay before being seated...
I went to Fatburger with some friends tonight, and had heard from all of them about how great the burgers were and how they are so much better than all of the other fast food restaurant burgers. I found that the burgers were quite good as were the fries. However, I found that the price was rather exorbitant for what you get. The regular Fatburger, with fries and a drink came to just over $11. And this is for a burger that has only cheese, tomato, onion and the regular condiments. Rather steep in my eyes. So will I be back - not likely.
I've been here maybe 5 times now, and it's always the same, a very solid burger, pretty quick, but a little expensive insofar as fast food goes. If you don't mind spending 10-15 a person to get a filling meal, you should enjoy Fatburger.
I've been to Fatburger 5-10 times now since opening. I do enjoy the burgers a lot, they seem to be of good quality, and the chocolate shakes are GREAT. I usually get a King burger. However, about half the time my order is incorrect, which stops me from going more often. I like the food too much to stop going altogether. I like the old songs from the jukebox, and the place seems pretty clean as well...
I will tell you now that fatburger's food does not match up to a lot of restaurants. BUT, if you are looking for something quick and easy, go there. You go in, order at the front, dispense your drinks, and sit down. Cool pictures and T.V.'s are all over the place. I think it's a good value but it is a burger and I repeat that it cannot be that great. I had a swiss mushroom melt on a veggie burger and it was decent. I do appreciate the fact that the mushroom burger is originally a meat burger, but they let me have veggie.
After some anticipation, my partner brought home a Fatburger.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but the taste experience was mediocre. It was just another hamburger.
But there was something strange about the pickle in the middle - seemed to be over-vinegared.
Will I try another burger from this chain? Fat chance!
I was looking forward to eating at Fatburger. Unfortunately, I left pretty disappointed.
The food is not bad at all. However, it tastes like a normal burger meal with generic fries and ketchup. Our meal carried nothing special or worthy tastefulness to invigorate my senses.
The cost of our meal was pretty decent and will not leave an empty hole in anyone's wallet. Even an inspired 50's ambiance tried to remind us of good old fashion Americana with rollerskating waitress and gas guzzling automobiles. Thank goodness the rest of the world has moved on because Fatburger is ironically stuck in the past. And it is not a good thing.
Lunch at Fatburger was okay but not outstanding.
The burgers and fries were tasty but I don't think warrant a return visit.
I found it to be rather pricey for the quality and quantity.
No Senior's discount but they do have a punch card - so many purchases and you earn a burger free.
Staff were friendly and the time from ordering food to delivery to table was reasonable.
Restaurant was clean as were the washrooms.
I have been to all three Fatburgers in BC as well as a couple in the States, very good food, very good atmosphere as well as amazingly consistent. In a previous review for Fatburger Langley someone mentioned that the service was average....as in you have to order then seat yourself. What on earth do you expect? It is a fast food joint, not as fast as Macpukes but that is because each and every meal is made to order...so if you expect someone to take your order at your table go somewhere else....That is perhaps the silliest comment in any review that I have read.
The food is good, if you like big portions and good burgers...you will like Fatburger.
...but they won't get a third...Tried it as had a "2 for 1" coupon, but it only applied to certain burgers....which was fine, very disappointed in the burgers, WAY too expensive even at 2 for 1 for what I got.
I thought maybe it was just a "bad night" so decided to try again a few weeks later. The information I got about the burgers (again 2 for1) was not the information I got the first trip but carried on, then I find out if you ordered the burger with bacon and cheese, YOU PAY EXTRA FOR THE BACON AND CHEESE, 2 burgers, supposedly a "deal" came to almost $12??? NOT. I won't ever go back, poor quality, poor value & poor customer service, lots of other places in the area to eat and for alot less.....
I had heard of the Fatburger experience and was looking forward to it but very disappointed. The staff were underwhelming with their enthusiam for the "fat tip thankyou". The value of the food was poor, I could have gotten a better value for the same (or better) quality of food at Harvey's for a charbroiled burger. My onion rings were undercooked. We probably won't return.
