The menu at Earls focuses on freshly made, seasonally inspired, casually elegant West Coast cuisine with International flavour. In addition to wide variety of dishes Earls has a drink menu to match.
Ok...is this a strip club? Why do they insist on having the waitresses dress so...cheap? The last time I went there, there was a waitress with a short dress on, and the front was so minimal that I got an eye full...I lost my appetite. I think its disrespectful and dirty to have the staff dress like that.
The food...isn't very good. The quality doesn't match this high prices. I will not be returning ever again.
We used to hit up this Earl's location all the time, and for years,it was usually pretty good. The last time we went there for lunch, our waiter was less than enthusiastic, the restaurant was 1/2 full (Sunday afternoon) & it took 45+ min for two appetizers, which ended up coming to us COLD. The waiter made all kinds of excuses about the wait, the food etc. We literally got up & walked out, and will never go back. Horrible service, which is too bad because the selection of beer is great, and the choices on the menu are great.
Dunno why I went here again, over the years this store has had quality staff, food and atmosphere...well, one of the three is still there and that's it! Food prices for what you get, lousy and tasteless. Girls, short short skirts, and really no personality! Waitress (or bartender) actually spent more time texting on her cell phone than worry about me or anyone else for that matter...Busy place, sure don't see what all the fuss is about, this place is NOT on my list of places to go anymore
I like Earl's ... and have been to many. Usually try the seasonal dishes... this night was good - good food, good service, good atmosphere ...
And the air conditioner certainly works -- I had to put my jacket bakc on as it was just too cold.
Twice now I've been to Earl's in Langley in the past month and received terrible service. The first time it was quite busy, and we had to wait a 1/2 hour for a table for two. Which is fine it was a sunday night in langley.. it's busy. However once seated we sat there for 25 minutes and NO ONE came to take even a drink order. All around us people were complaining about their food being cold etc. So we walked out.
Last night we decided to try it again, at 4:30pm. The place was empty maybe 4 tables with customers. About 8 waiters/waitresses milling about looking cranky. We stood at the front for 10 minutes before being seated. Then again waited and waited. Finally took our drink order. All the while making excuses that the place was busy. one waiter came by and THREW a candle down on our table. The food was ok, lukewarm but ok. The service was not even close to being ok.
We'll never go back again. Its so surprising though because Earl's in other locations can be so good.
