absolutly LOVE this place pretty much every restaurant in Langley serves the same food but here you can actually find something a bit different and you will not be disapointed. I dont usually write reviews for places but this little place is just so damn good. I really miss their breakfast though because they were absolutly fantastic

Think twice about coming here

I saw some previous reviews on Careli Grill and the one about the meat ball Monster sandwich had me drooling so I convinced a few coworkers to go for lunch.

Upon our arrival we were given some menus to review and our drink orders were taken (waters all around). Almost 10 minutes later the waitress arrived with water that tasted like it had come straight from a garden hose.

When submitting my order I asked for the deliciously mouthwatering famous meatball sandwich that I read about on the internet and saw on the menu. The waitress was confused about this as it wasn't on their menu. I showed her it on the menu and she said she wasn't sure they had them. So after everyone placed their order I asked if she could check to see if there were any meatball sandwiches around.

20 minutes later a plate arrives in front of me with a roast beef sandwich and fries. I apparently ordered the combo (which included fries and a pop) and no pop arrived. We had to go to the counter to ask for our drinks and carried them back over. The pop was totally flat. All syrup and water. The fries were cold and soggy, and the sandwich which I had been dreaming about for days was dry and tasteless.

My co-workers meals didn't fare much better. Wrong meals, incorrect items all put a damper on the affair. While we were paying the owner apologized about the pop mishap and asked the waitress to remove them from our order. She said she couldn't because they were part of the combo's (which I didn't order in the first place.) All in all it came out to be almost $13 (before tip), which is not a reasonable price for a lunch in downtown Langley.

I hate writing negative things about anything, but I felt I had to warn those that may be dreaming of a meatball sandwich at night. If you want your meatball sandwich, go to Subway.

I was driving in Langley looking for a place to eat and I found Carelli Grill. As a student, I am always looking for a good deal and boy did I find it. This family owned restaurant is very clean and the service is great. I had the best burger ever. If you are looking for variety at a reasonable price you will love Carelli Grill. I know I am planning to go around Douglas Park in search of those great eats.

I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to dine at a small, quaint place with excellent food and service. My friend had the "mini monster" meatball sandwich today, it was so big and saucy he couldn't help but leave with some of it on his shirt! The owner showed us the size of the "monster" sandwich, its for appetites far bigger than my own! The "monster" is 8.99 and the "mini monster" is 5.99! He told us about a deal he is offering for Ribs, 2 ppl for $19.95 on certain nights of the week! All I can say is it's cheap, it's clean and good and the owner really cares about his customers! I love that the kitchen is visible and it is clean. I'm hoping the place stays around a long time! Can't wait to try the "mini monster" pulled pork sandwich!

My wife and I decided to give this relatively new place a try! Greeted warmly by the new owner and allowed to sit anywhere. Menu in hand and coffee on the way, great way to pick the food with hot coffee on the table. We chose the Classic omelet, pan fries and toast of your choice. Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. Nice touch a piece of fruit on the plate. Coffee refills without asking. We will be back to try lunch at another time. Intrigued about the "Monster Sandwich". Enjoyed the wide open and clean look of the place.
