One of Langley's popular fish and chips place located on 56 Ave.
The place is one of our faves when we want to eat fish and chips. The food is plentiful and served at great prices. The service there is top notch. As soon as you think you need something boom they are there to help you out. They make the meal so much fun. My kids like all the fishing stuff on the wall as well.. I usually order there chicken burger when going there and love it. My husband and kids love the fish. I would recommend the place. A place doesnt stay open as long as they have if they aren't good. I remember going there when I was a little girl. Well worth a visit.
Went here last night for all you can eat fish and chips with a pop, price seemed right for $9.99
Ambiance was very "arrrgh, matey" harpoons, ships, life preservers, nautical clocks and a picture of the old sea captain hanging on the wall. It felt like being on a boat. The smell of cigarette smoke came drifting in and it kind of spoiled the meal. Looking up at the cailing you could see the ceiling tiles had water spots. Fungus and asbestos is a great add on to the meal
Service was excellent, fast, prompt, and polite. Our server was always there when we needed her and it was very nice. The girl who was working at the counter when you had to pay by debit was a different story, very surly.
Food was conflicting though, three of us had all you can eat and the portions were huge seeing that they give you five pieces to start. I tore into mine like a kid on Christmas only to find that three pieces were mainly batter. Hello, any fish in there? if there was fish in there it was terribly over cooked. My aunt had the two piece meal and they used a better cut of fish and there was a good fish to batter ratio.
The all you can eat fish is made in large amounts seeing that everyone orders that, the two piece meal looks and tastes way better.
I can tell friends that I have eaten here but I would come on a regular basis
