Bubble Tea House is down town Langley's only specialty bubble tea house.
When I was younger I lived in richmond, where there are literally hundreads of great bubble tea restuarants.
When I moved to langley I tried out several places, dissapointed, until I found Bubbilism.
I usually order a mango slush with pearls. The decor is pleasant, and the husband / wife run atmosphere is a good fit fot the small shop. The drinks are a tad overpriced, considering most of them are flavoured with powders, but considering the cost to lease a bussiness on the one-way that's not suprising.
The thing that makes the bubble tea so good, is simply the bubbles. The wife who makes them is from Taiwan and does the job right, making them just like I used to have in Richmond and in a way that no other bubble tea place in langley has come close to.
Bring cash and dont forget to have your Thirsty Card stamped!
I've come in a couple of times. The kiwi slush is great and the pearls are very nice. The last time I tried the strawberry milk tea. It was a little too sweet for my taste but not bad after I'd got over the original sweetness. They mostly use powders but have a fresh fruit option. Pretty good prices in comparison to other bubble tea restaurants and they have the option for small or large drinks. Most drinks won't run over $4 for a large and about $3 for a small. I had cash with me both times and that was how I planned to pay, but I did see a sign that said a minimum $5 charge for the debit machine or they'd add a service fee. Overall, I'd definitely keep coming up when the craving for a bubble tea hits.
Hands down, this place is great! My favourite is the blended Milk Taro with pearls. I get it half sweet, and that's perfect for me. The passionfruit iced tea with pearls is very refreshing also. Excellent service, reasonable prices, and excellent product keep me coming back! Not to mention near excellent shopping as well. I love this part of Langley.
I say solid to the food, b/c I have never had anything here but a cookie. And that was delicius, but can't truly comment on the food but this program made me rate it.
The smoothies here are oh-so-good. Always greeted with a smile, the service is great! While if I had one suggestion to give, it would be bring cash; the $4 minimum debit purchase, is just annoying. All in all I understand that small businesses like this need to make money, and their recent update in the decor has not been unnoticed! great job!
I go here all the time. Me and my wife love the bubble tea at bubblism. We truly love the Taro Milk Teas and their Iced Coffee help us get through the day. Their pearls are the best! Great ambiance and amazing photographs.
