Boston Pizza offers a casual dining atmosphere with over 100 menu items including a selection of pizzas, pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, meal-sized salads, entrees and desserts.
We'd pretty much given up on all Boston Pizzas, and only ended up at this one because our restaurant of choice had a 40 minute wait for a table. While nearly every other BP experience we've had is very comparable to the review below......terrible, we were quite pleasently suprised by our latest trip to this location. Our server was great, super helpful, friendly and attenive, and for once our food actually came out correctly (so rare at BP, especially if you're attempting to modify anything!) Overall, alot better than we'd anticipated. Still quite skeptical of Boston Pizza however!
I only come here when the company that keep demands convenience. I try to offer alternatives, but sadly this place has good hours, and easy to find locations... much like gas stations.
The food is just ok. I really only eat the pepperoni pizza here. The alfredo pizza is horrid to look at, and from what my friends say, even worse to eat. Generally though, the food is rather bland. The prices are bloated for what you get, even though they have "specials".
Speaking of bloated, the beer they have on tap is limited to the big brewery that they have a contract with. Overpriced too.
Service is OK, friendly enough...
Come here to watch a game? No way.... go to Jimy Mac's Pub instead.
With all the new restaurants in Walnut Grove, do yourself a favour and give this one a skip. We ended up with one truly awful experience, and the makeup experience (were sent gift certificates) was not awful, but certainly not enough to make me go back. To quickly summarize:
Were not seated for far too long, despite plenty of empty tables, no one would explain why.
4 girls at the front desk, mostly concerned with their shirts/hair/appearance than any customers.
Food orders took far too long to arrive, two of the four were wrong.
One of the alcoholic drinks had no alcohol.
Wouldn't come around to fill the non-alcoholic drinks up.
Meh. There was more, but thats enough for now.
The follow up trip had poor attitude from the server, and another food screwup....
