its about time this town had a nice place to eat at. Its nice to have a good choice over freaking burgers, pizza or Chinese take out. Very good food, loved the people, great service and nice inside. The staff are lots of fun and we really enjoyed our time there. We'll definitely go back again. We are trying their take out tonight, which is a great option. Wish this town would support more new places like this instead of driving out to Langley or Abbotsford.
The Azul Restaurant is a relatively new fine dining Restaurant along Fraser Hwy. It's located near the Langley/Aldergrove border. It's a cool hangout that's commonly found in Downtown Vancouver.
From crispy chicken wings to Moncton cake desert, the food selection is quite superb and tasty. Even the service is quite commendable with attentive staff. The owner is a well known fellow and a veteran restaurateur. Recent renovations has given the place a modern, but mellow feel, with dim lighting along with a nice looking bar. There's flat screen TV everywhere for optimum viewing of sporting events. Even a stage/lounge area give the customer a chance to enjoy live music during the week. Overall, the prices are very fair and well worth the quality food.
Overall, if you're in the Aldergrove/Langley area and looking for a place to eat or hangout, I would definitely reccomend Azul.
We celebrated my Mother-in-law's 81st birthday with my Sister in law down from Malakwa. Mum had the ribs and loved them, couldn't finish them so brought some home for her son. Sister-in-law had the tiger prawns, again a big hit. I had the mussels and asked if they could be cooked without the asiago cheese which they did so the broth was just tomatoes and peppers, supremely delicious, my son mopped up the last of the broth with my left over garlic bread and couldn't believe how good it tasted. My husband had the special of the day and the appy that was on special as well and thoroughly enjoyed both. Our server was lovely and very informative about the wine, beer specials as well as the deals of the day, actually saved us some money. Will definitely be back for more.
This place has a nice cozy atmosphere. the booths are a little uncomfortable because they have such a straight back to them, but it didn't ruin our night :) the food took quite some time to come out but now we know why! it was absolutely delicious. One of us had the ranch chicken burger, and the other the 2 oz burger with mushrooms and cheese. Both were fantastic. The beef was a homemade patty, and the chicken was absolutely juicy and delicious.
We will definitely come back again! :)
