"Stone Soup Inn is an unpretentious gourmet restaurant nestled in the forest near the Cowichan River. We feature locally grown, raised, wild foraged and fished ingredients of the Cowichan Valley and surrounding ocean, frankly some of the best ingredients in the world.
Part of the property is a small operating farm, supplying some of the ingredients for the restaurant. Besides vegetables and herbs we also have chickens, turkeys, ducks, sheep and pigs, and forage for our own wild herbs, berries and mushrooms. The À la Carte and Chef’s Tasting Menu changes weekly or daily based on availability of fresh local ingredients. The Menu can be paired with local wines, ciders and beers."
