I had to post this review. We had a perfect dinner at Cabana. We showed up without a reservation, the dining room was full so they sat us in the lounge- we enjoyed our intimate booth.OUr server looked like she was too young to drink, but we soon realized that this young lady loved her job. She spoke with passionately of her favorite wines, and the Chef's best dishes. We went with their homemade pasta with huge scallops- Ive never had fresh pasta before, it was amazing. We also had the Fresh Tuna with a maple glaze- again, perfect. We were told that they have live music in their dining room every Saturday. We will be back.
Good value. not cheap but better value than I had expected.
The restaurant has a very good service, awesome jazz music, and a cool place. However, the food combination is kind of weird for me. I came here with my friend. I ordered sabblefish and scallop while my friend ordering the halibut. When the food came, I a bit surprised since my sabblefish and scallop was combined with rice. My food came with a pretty light sauce. As you know, rice usually absorbs any liquid, so did with my sauce. Poorly, when i ate the food, i could not really feel the taste of the sauce. So, overall, it was kind of bitter. Actually, i expected something more from here.
