We wanted to go out for a nice dinner while we were visiting Halifax and heard a recommendation for this place. We really wanted to go somewhere where we could have oysters and seafood in a nice environment. Well...this was it.
The inside is somewhat dark and rustic, but in a nice way. We ordered a bottle of wine and some oysters to start. Both were excellent. For our mains, we each ordered the lobster - one lobster two ways and the other steamed and grilled. They were delicious. We finished off with a piece of flourless chocolate cake which was a great portion size and delicious as well.
Service was very attentive. Everything was as we had hoped. It's pricey, but nice for a treat. We would return if we were visiting again!
