We needed a place to eat while visiting Halifax and came across this place. You order from the counter and then seat yourself. They bring the food to you. It's simple layout with lots of books and games - looks like a decent place to hang out with a coffee. I ordered a bacon and eggs breakfast. It was decent, nothing spectacular but not bad for a $7 breakfast downtown. They also serve fair trade coffee.
It was fairly fast and reasonably priced. We had a nice seat by the open windows overlooking the street. Pretty good.
