At one time, a few years ago, I was a firm believer that Royal Pizza was possibly the best in the city.
Then the economy went in the crapper.
I guess in order to keep their heads above water, this location took some pretty drastic measures.
I used to be able to buy a medium pizza here and not be able to finish it.The pie was thick, and while a little on the expensive side, it was still good value for the money.
Then they changed the pizza to basically a little under half as thick as it used to be.It was still good, but no longer good value for the money. Not even close.
I went from not being able to finish a medium to still being hungry after finishing a medium.
I haven't been back. For their prices . . .it is just not worth it.
