Went here with another couple for dinner on a weekend night. Upon entering the restaurant, I was quite impressed with the decor. It is very moderns and reminds me of Cactus Club. The service was prompt and decent. Nothing above and beyond. We ordered 3 vegetarian dishes (I do not recall all their names but one was mala kofta) and one non-vegetarian (butter chicken). The sauces in all the dishes were good, but after awhile they all tasted the same. We also ordered the garlic naan and the regular naan. I throughly enjoyed the garlic naan. We also also ordered deep fried tandori dish and somosa as appetizers. The deep fried tandori fish was good but the samosas was a expensive for around $10 you gotten two samosa. They were the vegetarian type with mostly potatoes. The bill was almost $100 with tip, Value wise, I had better. The ambiance is great. Next time I plan to order more meat dishes to see if the food tastes better as the vegetarians dishes were satisfactory.
Very tasty food... but small portions & overpriced for all items.
Must have to say the place was full, few times I have been.
Good for people with deep pockets.
Most dishes have unique flavors, service was also good. Worth trying it out.
I liked their "Chilli Mushrooms", it is not that spice, but does taste really good.
I work in the area and once in a while i grab lunch there. Over the past couple years, prices went up and quality/quantity of the food down. Today I was standing in line with about 5-6 people ahead of me and then came bunch of workers in. They got offered to bump the line because they wanted today special. So suddenly i had more than 10 people ahead of me! NOT COOL! I have also noticed that I got tomatoes on my sandwich that the worker took off the sandwich that she was making before mine. Pieces looked like they were cut close to the edge and I guess they weren't good enough for previous customer but not for me. I have also got lot less lettuce. I think I'm going to stop going there
This restuarant has good interior and it was clean. It's fairly large restuarant and was getting busy for Saturday evening. Came in for early dinner like at 5:30pm. The place not full and people were still coming in. The server could not really understand what we were asking but he did not mess up our order. Food was different but not sure if i would pay those prices as the portions were a bit small. Dinner for two was around $60. We did not have dessert as we did not have room for dessert. They rush you in and out of the restuarant. I would try this place again as i like one of the chicken dishes that we had.
When we ask my kids where they want to eat out, they always pick Salty's Fish & Chips in Delta. It's in a poky little mall, but the location hides the super friendly atmosphere of the restaurant.
Bonus: My dairy-allergic son can eat here safely, and he loves coming here.
The staff are fantastic -- they even remember my kids' favourite drink orders! Totally recommended.
There's tons of these little cafe, sandwich panini, coffee, pastry places around. But, this one is one of the better ones. Lots of sandwiches(premade and made to order), grilled or not, wraps, quiche, soup as well as muffins, squares, cookies etc.
The service is good and the decor is nice. A couple of tables are outside too. Coffee was excellent and teh lattes large and generous.
Only thing I didn't like was there were few prices on the board so it was difficult to order. 2 regular sandwiches, a coffee and a cookie was $16.
The food at this establishment is great. But over the last couple months the food portions have been cut almost in half. I used to feel like a got good value there, now I dont feel that way. My Staff and I do not frequent there near as much as we used to now.
We brought some friends here after a wonderful long hot day in the sun. We had found this pub on a dark cold fall nite.and wanted to share it now with them. Prices were a little high compared to similar venues. We came back to try out the long narrow deck ( Great views) .
We walked in, found a table on the deck , Perfect. The server took our order and left
After forever she returned with our now well aged pints and took our food orders. Eventually the pints were emptied and we waited to reorder , and waited and waited. My wife went on recognizance mission and found her sitting by the bar. We reordered and waited and waited and waited. We asked a busgirl if she could check on our missing waitress . the bus girls delivered our food ( great service ) Our drinks finally also showed up , no "I am sorry for the wait".
I could understand if they were full and busy but they were not. The food was ok, not bad not great..
Our biggest disappointment was the service from our server. if a pub is going to charge a premium prices for their food ( again compared to similar venues ) it should have the service to go along with it
For the first time since I can remember NO tip was given, if the server ain't got the time She ain't getting a dime.
I will start by saying the owners are so very nice and friendly. Sadly the food was not so good.
I had the bento box a with avocado roll subed in for the california roll.
The gyoza's tasted like they had been microwaved, and the rolls had a very fishy smell and I had not fish.
The chicken teryaki was so dry and very little sauce to help make it easier to eat.
Rainbow crab, sadly was felt ill after we ate there,,
we will not return..
We originally came here to eat at E's Up Dining for late breakfast but quickly realized it had been replaced with a new restaurant called Delta's Grill. Decided to check it out anyways and have to say we were pleasantly surprised.
This restaurant is your typical hole in the wall restaurant, nothing fancy and their menu is really simple. However, their prices are very cheap averaging around $7-10 for sandwich & soup or burger & potatoes with included drink. They also sell pasta and other grilled dishes. As the name suggests most of their items on the menu are grilled so you won't find any deep fried dishes or french fries. Instead you get pan fried potatoes which is a nice change.
Onto the food, my wife ordered a fish burger and I ordered chicken burger. First of all the burgers are huge and you won't find premade fish patties here. My wife's fish burger was several fillets of fish stacked on top of each other and was moist, light and delicious. I'll have to get that next time I'm here. My chicken burger came with a grilled chicken breast that had a nice flavour and it stuck out on two sides! I couldn't finish my chicken burger (mind you I came here at 11am) so I had to take it to go. Anyways, excellent value here if you just want something simple for lunch.
The people working there were really friendly and is a family run business. I suggested they start doing a breakfast menu and they may add that down the road but they've only been in business for month and a half. Anyways, I wish them all the best and we'll be back!
Looking for a great lunch at a fair price. Lunch menu has great selection is varied and usually under $10.00. Lots of food well prepared. My favorite is a Mushroom burger. Piled high with fresh mushrooms not canned. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. Get there early for lunch as the place is usually packed.
I've been going to Maguro for years. The food has always been delicious, plentiful, and consistent. The waitresses on the other hand are the rudest, most disrespectful, and snobish I have ever encountered. They are not pleasant, no hello's or how are you? They get you seated, stand at your table not saying a word until you acknowledge them, and then say order now? Straight faced, no warmth, like you're a bother to them. The food always comes fast though. When it comes they drop it on the table walk away and never ask you how your meal is. If you need something, good luck to you. You might be able to quickly say your request as one of them walks by and hope they heard you, because they will not stop to acknowledge that you're trying to speak to them. So it's a 50/50 chance you'll end up with what you ask. Probably the rudest thing I always encounter there is when you're getting close to being done your meal, someone will come over and start grabbing at your food and while they are taking it away will ask you if you are done? If you are not they will put it back down without saying sorry and walk away. But if they get it right and you are finished they plop down the bill as soon as you say your done, will have a debit machine also on the table, and expect you to pay as you're still chewing your food. If you want to sit and enjoy the company your with, well think again. Once the bill is paid they grab a rag and start cleaning the table with you still in it and will mumble, Okay bye now, rushing you out. The food is good yes, but the wait staff act as if they don't need your business. Like they're doing you a huge favour by you choosing to eat at their establishment. Their attitudes really make me think twice if I want to come and eat there, because they make everyone I'm with and I feel really unwelcome.
Holy smokes, those were the first words out of my mouth when i saw the beer selection this restaurant had. Came out to Lander with my wife for a drive and decided to go Sharkeys, mind you we had a coupon. We went for lunch, service was prompt ,aumbiance was cool reminded me of being back home in Nova Scotia (Just couldnt put my finger on it) My wife and I order the Fish n Chips I had the Phillips Blue Buck Pale Ale and my wife had a ceaser. Everything was great . I was just surprised to see a restaruant like this with a Microbrew selection. Not to say much more, if your in Ladner and craving a unique beer u got to check out Sharkeys.
Alway greeted by friendly staff, the service is great and such friendly people. The Manager is alwasy running around making sure everyone is happy and taken care of, makes you feel special.
The food is fantastic and if there is ever a problem you just have to say something and it is immediately fixed. The customers really come first in this place. I can't say enough good things.
Thank you for your great customer service!!!!

We had 2 big tables with a total of 20 ppl. Lots of drinks. Good Times. Service was great!
I have lunch twice a week at Twin Bridges, and sometimes our company orders catering from them for meetings
The menu is updated every week , and the variety is huge. This is the place to get high quality food on a reasonable price. This week I had the CURRY Puffs. I must say that this is one of the most delicious things I have ever tried. I love the lamb & rice and the veggie wraps.
Definitely recommend it for lunch, take away or catering. We sometimes call them and order the food in advance , so when we get there we don't have to wait.
Great Food, Great Staff and the Owner.
It is a good place to eat, and to meet local Ladner people, or come with friends and family,
Using it for regular business gatherings.
We wish that they open for breakfast.
The Owners know most people in Ladner, and most of them know the Owners.
Interesting menu, for both dinner and take out.
Pizzas are the top on the list.
Good selection of wines.
A well run business, and good to know it if you like to have a business in Ladner and Tsawwassen.
See you there - Ladner & Tsawwassen Meetup Group.
It's really hard to find good quality Japanese restaurants in the lower mainland. My experience at Akari Japanese restaurant was outstanding. I've been to Akari several times with my family and friends this year. I am very picky with Japanese food and the quality really really matters to me. I love all kinds of Japanese food but fresh sashimi is my favourite at all times. Akari had very fresh, chewy, and yummy sashimi. We ordered sashimi salad and grilled black cod with vegetables for appetizers, and some of the special rolls. The food was fresh, very tasty and the decoration was beautiful! Some of the special rolls can be a bit pricy but they are so worth it. I really enjoyed their rolls. They offer many different kinds of rolls and all are very very unique. You can choose either white rice or black rice. I personally really liked the ones with black rice. They looked yummy, tasted incredible, fresh, satisfying and very filling. The service was great too! Thinking of Akari's food makes me want to eat there again right now lol. I highly recommend Akari Japanese restaurant to anyone who love Japanese cousin! :)
Stopped here for lunch: this is a very old school seafood waterfront restaurant that seems to be a through back to an earlier time. Had the cod fins and chips; interesting that they use a breaded batter, that makes the fish crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall a very good meal.
We were there for lunch and ordered beef brisket rice noodle soup and a few dim sum dishes. It is the
worst that I have ever tasted. Food is to be enjoyed. I found it a torture to eat it, never mind paying $25
for it. You will never get me to go back.
