Ocean Palace is an awesome restaurant. MY girlfriend and I both love the ginger beef, is so good when its fresh and still crispy. The mu-Shu is really good, as are any of their Chow Mein dishes. Hot and Sour soup is perfect if you have a cold, or anytime really, and the Creamed Corn with Minced Chicken soup is tasty. Id recommend this place to anyone, its a good value restaurant with delicious good and a super nice owner (James)
This restaurant is soooo popular that even when you order by phone, for a pick up, you can wait well over an hour. I think I waited over 1.5 hr's for my pick up order once. After I placed my order, again for pick up, I went grocery shopping and came back and still had one heck of a wait. The should hire more staff to handle the rush. By the time you get your food you could eat your arm off.
The food is excellent at this local restaurant but they are lacking in service. When dining on a special day 'Mother's Day' etc. they will seat you at a table WITHOUT advising you that you will be sitting there for two hours before any food arrives. This is extremely upsetting as there are usually young children in your party and we would definitely have avoided making a reservation had we been informed of this.
