I would give it all 5's, but I'm trying to respect the rating system.
The food is just awesome when it comes to the fish and chips. The batter on the fish is VERY THIN and is just enough of a shell to hold in the fish. This is the way I like it, I eat it for the fish, not the batter. I've only ordered the Cod so far as it was so good, I didn't see a need to get halibut. Fish is not overcooked and is very easy to eat and cut. I used to goto c-lovers in newton, but I won't be any more. Also, the fries are the best and the slaw is great!
Service is great, the place is usually fairly quiet for eating in so the owners greet you and tell you to sit wherever you would like. When I finished my drink, they were very attentive to refill it without me having to ask.
Prices seem normal for fish and chips. No complaints here.
Not much ambiance, but it is clean and the dining room looks new. Nothing to complain about for fish and chips.
