Small sushi restaurant in Delta with an emphasis on value and portion size that does mostly takeout.
Been here a few times and never been disappointed. A must for fresh take-out sushi if you live in Tsawwassen or Ladner. Very busy so call ahead. Scallop rolls and Dynamite rolls both excellent and the tempura not too greasy and good value at $5.95. Staff are friendly and efficient. Not a dine-in place but great for take-out.
I go to Go-Go sushi about once a week at work because I just can not get enough of their sushi. It is my favorite restaurant for sushi, and I have to agree with the others that it is easier to get take out than eat in the restaurant. There is limited seating and it gets very crowded because it is so popular. Their yam roll is well priced and my favorite! I find their rolls well priced, a chicken teriyaki roll is $3.95 and a tempura yam roll is $2.99 (I've paid $5.95 and $4.95 respectively at other places)
Their dragon roll is quite tasty, it's an "investment" roll - 8 huge pieces stuffed to the brim - I recommend sharing it with your more adventurous friends.
I've driven 30 mins just to get Go-Go's sushi, so if you're local, it's worth the quick stop in!
I love the sushi here - it can't be beat. The rolls are always moist and flavorful, and you get the best "bang for your buck" here. If I am coming to eat in, I usually bring a book because you come to eat - not to impress here. I would not bring a client/family member here to eat in, but if I was having a business lunch in the office I would most definetely have to brought from here. I will go no where else!
I've been going to Go-Go sushi for several years now and their food has just been improving ever since. The owners are very friendly and kind and their service is quick. The food is great quality and is plenty enough to fill anyone up. For dine there's only approx. 10 seats so take out is a usual. I'd recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a small sushi take-out that's fairly inexpensive and big portions.
Decent take out sushi. Good lunchboxes for less than $6!
