Denny's serves a menu of diner classics including all day breakfast items, burgers, sandwiches and more.
I have been a patron of Denny's off and on for the last 8 years and even used to be an employee at the North Vancouver location back in 2007.
I really like Denny's Food, but notice that the prices are getting a little step.
My friend and I decided to take a drive to Surrey tonight, and came to this Denny's location shortly before midnight.
I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries with cheese and one pancake. My friend had eggs and hashbrown.
This is my 2nd entree that I had at Denny's since I had left earlier this year (which would also be my 2nd entree this year)
I was happy with my food. I would have only given the rating of the food a 3.5, but you have to give it a 3 or a 4 and the cheese fries made me decide to round it up to a 4 (the burger was good too as was the one pancake)
Service was just a tad above average. The waitress made some nice small talk which made me happy (it wasn't much, but still nice that she seemed to care rather than just take our plates away without saying anything)
Value was decent considering that this is a restaurant and not a supermarket, though I still think I paid a little too much for one pancake $1.99 and now a double cheeseburger and fries (without cheese) cost $10.29 (plus $1.20 for cheese) after tax and a $4 tip I ended up paying $18.44
I love the Ambiance. It is different than the regular Denny's and has a nice cozy feel to it. LOVE IT!
Well probably be back again, but are in no hurry.
Went to Denny's for a late meal after driving around in the area and realizing nothing was still open except for Denny's. The parkade in the back was very dark and didn't seem very safe. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly manager who took us to a booth. The decor and atmosphere was nothing to write home about, but the service and food both pleasantly surprised us that evening.
Our server was a very pleasant lady who was genuine and attentive. We ordered a burger and a sandwich, which took a while to arrive. As we were wondering what was going on with our order, the server came to notify us that they had run out of burger buns and the manager had gone out to try and buy some. It was rather late (close to midnight) and we appreciated their effort. We agreed to having bread instead so we could start enjoying the food sooner. However, the manager came back and so we got the burger a couple of minutes later. My beloved dinner companion said the burger was "soooo good", claiming it to be one of the best he's ever tasted. (and he's a burger fan!) I tried a bite and it was very delicious, juicy and fresh. My sandwich was very tasty as well, everything tasted very fresh, even the fries.
Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of food and service that evening. Certainly not what we were expecting from a Denny's.
The food at the delta location was great. They had a really good breakfast menu, many different selections to choose from! Awesome service. Not too long of a wait on a sunday afternoon. Staff was really nice, and the service was fast.
The Decor was average. Very plain and simple.
Restaurant was very clean.
Overall We liked it and hands down would go there again.
Reccomended:)
