The pasta dishes in this simple cafe are outstanding. They would rate full stars even at an upscale Italian restaurant, and here they go for $12.95 per dish. My partner and I had a superb dinner consisting of a penne dish with thick and scrumptious tomato sauce and a ravioli dish with a tomato cream sauce. Each dish was clearly made fresh on the premises. Not a lot of choices on the menu, but if you want simply the best quality and taste, nothing lost by ordering whatever dishes are available on the night that you dine. Simple cafe furnishings and ambiance. An interesting and slightly out-of-the-way location in Tsawwassen, in a residential community near Boundary Bay and the US border. The proprietor/chef is also delightful. Well worth the trip.
they call it more than a cafe and that's true. I have to rate it high because for a cafe it is exceptional. the food is fantastic and the location just a block to the beach . Daniel the operator is pleasant and accommodating and his home cooking was a treat. The out of the way location makes it a fun drive for lunch or dinner. we feel like we discovered something unknown. I'm looking forward to having dinner on the deck this summer. the phone number was wrong on this posting. It should be 604-934-6853
