I always take a delivery order from them and everything has been great. It is nice to see there are some restaurants like Bella Pizza which can give you good food with a very reasonable price, not to mention the great service.
I have been ordering from this location for last two years it was the time we moved from Vancouver to Coquitlam and find out the Bella Pizza in town.

Allergies? Intolerances? Stay away.

I have a severe gluten intolerance, and have seen other Original Joe's listed as gluten-free friendly. So, I asked the servers at this location about their procedures, and everything seemed good: I was told they had a separate spot on the grill for gluten-free items, and that they made sure everything was absolutely clean before using it for gluten-free items. Now, granted this does not mean they use entirely separate cookware for gluten-free meals, but I have been ok with that in the past.

First, my water glass tasted like beer - evidently their dishwasher is not good enough to get rid of old food or drinks.

Second - and this is the cincher - their gluten-sensitive menu said to order the side salad without cranberries, so I did. I was very clear with the waitress that the entire meal was to be gluten-free, and that I was very sensitive. She said the kitchen had been alerted. Half-way through my meal, I got to the bottom of my salad ... and found the cranberries.

I do not blame the waitress, as she was taken aback that I found cranberries in my salad. The fault evidently lies with the kitchen.

The kitchen was not careful enough to avoid placing a gluten-containing item (one which was noted on their menu to contain gluten) into a gluten-free meal. I don't trust any of their other procedures regarding gluten or other intolerances or food allergens, because of this.

I did react to the meal. I've been feeling ill ever since it, and expect to be ill for another 5 - 7 days, with lingering effects which peter off for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

very loud atmosphere but decent ribs

We arrived on a Saturday night around 6:15 pm and was seated within a few minutes in a corner booth with a window view as had reservations. Ordered the back pork ribs, regular and large size ($21 & $27) They arrived in a fairly short time, good size portions, very meaty but a few of the ribs I found a bit dry, as I prefer fattier ribs so maybe next time will order the pork side ribs instead. We picked yam fries, coleslaw, baked potato, corn for the sides. The potato had great texture but was a bit cold. The cornbread did not taste that fresh and a bit dry. One thing that was kind of annoying was that every few minutes or so the staff would put a large moosehead on the birthday person's head and sing their song which was like a birthday chant or something.. it seemed to go on all night. Don't think its that hygienic as well. We could hear screaming kids at the other end as well but if you don't mind people shouting all night and a loud atmosphere you will have a good time.

Four of us were planning to go to another restaurant in the same mall, but it was full, so we decided to chance it with this Korean restaurant which we knew nothing about. This place appears to be run by a Korean family, and the food was delicious. The cold noodle was surprisingly tasty, and the BBQ beef ribs were tender, juicy, and delicious. The pork soup, too, was very tasty, and the seafood egg pancake was not greasy like in some other Korean restaurants. In fact, everything was most satisfactory, and prices were very reasonable. Overall, a very good deal, and the service was quick and attentive. Highly recommended.

Our go to Greek...

This is where hubby and I go when we have a craving for Greek food. Food is almost always great (a bit heavy on the salt once or twice but not unbearable) and we've always had outstanding service from their team there. I love the calamari appetizer (good for sharing) and I usually order the mixed souvlaki and hubby greatly enjoys the mediterranean chicken. I've had the greek ribs as well and they're tasty,... with leftovers for a lovely lunch the next day. I usually don't have room for dessert but I did manage to save some room for the bogatsa our last visit. ohhhh... so yummy. Beautifully crisp filo wrapped around piping hot custard. Burned my mouth but so worth it! A yummy treat for us. We like the little outside patio area. The traffic noise isn't too loud and it's nice to sit in a covered patio and just enjoy the nice weather.

Service has always been good for us. Attentive and we've never had to ask for more beverages. Maybe we've just been lucky. We had a birthday party there recently and even though there was only 1 server on (Jessica), she handled it like a trooper. Our group + about 6 patio tables and 3 inside tables. Never felt neglected at all.

Would we go back? Yes. It's our go to Greek place.

Ever go to a restaurant and know as soon as you stand there for a minute that it's "not going to go well" as my husband said? That's this place. Now I generally like Rickys for breakfast and hoped this fairly new one would be good. Wrong.

We waited on a Sunday morning for at least 10 minutes while the SLOOOOOOWWWW hostess sat two groups ahead of us. She wasn't even pouring coffee just seating. She'd leave and then come back five minutes later. She not only walked slow she looked slow. Note to manager she might be better suited working at another task. On our way out new people waiting were commenting on her as well.

When we were sat the fairly decent waitress got us coffee - we didn't really see her again. One bus boy came by by and tried to refill my husband's coffee by reaching around a corner, and across the table infront of two kids. It was weird I have never seen anyone pour coffee like that. Later some other person came by and offered more coffee and we told her we had only been given 2 sets of cutlery for 4 people. She came back in a minute but instead of setting the 2 missing places she literally dropped the cutlery and napkins onto the table from about 8 inches up and walked away!

When the food came it was again weird coffee-pouring bus boy and not our waitress. She later came by and asked if we were missing anything and I thought that perhaps if you'd served it you'd know. That was the last we saw of her. We even had to eventually get a manager to get our bill for us and then had to go up to pay as no one came by. Service was BRUTAL.

The food was pretty good as always for breakfast, fresh, hot and tasty. No giant portions here which is good but the prices are a bit up there. $50 for a family for breakfast is just too much. I do not think we'd hit up this place again.

Have been here several times now and finally decided to write a review.

The menu is often changing and the food is fresh. Thursdays are great because you have a mini menu of half price eats.
The staff always impress me as they are always on top of it and in a good mood. They always have good tips and bring out hot food.

Would recommend this place for a date night, casual night or family night.
Good for all.

Headed there again tonight.

Horrible.

Food was okay but the service was horrible.

We live an 8 min drive from this location but were unable to go and pick up the pizza so we ordered deliver. The total was $21 and change so we said it would be cash. Upon ordering, we were told 35-45min.

An hour later we called to see where the pizza was and were told "it will be there soon" when we kept asking what was taking so long all they said was "there soon" and then hung up. Not even ten minutes later, the driver showed up.

The driver then told us that the order was $27 not the $21 but at this point we didn't care. We gave him $40 and asked for $10 back. He then said that he did not have change and thanked us for the tip. When we explained that we had waited over an hour and while we understand it's not his fault, we still do not feel that it deserved a tip that large. He then argued that he had to drive here so he deserved a larger tip than what we wanted to give him.

We will never order from this place again, it was a horrible experience.

We were here a while back and had the burger and beef dip. Everything was fine. The basis burger for $11 was good value. A second visit was mostly for the deck, food being secondary. I used to frequent this place when it was the French Quarter before it got rundown in all respects so I enjoyed the upscale. This time we tried the quesadilla and another beef dip. Prices are good. Everything was ok with the quesadilla except it had no taste whatsoever. Bland would be a favorable term as it needed a serious spike in spice, seasoning, actually anything on it would be an improvement. The dip needed some taste so HP sauce worked. The server was a lovely young lady who did a fine job. Go for the deck. As for the food maybe appies only next time.

My girl friends and I decided to order a few pizzas for our ladies night. So, called Bella Pizza and place a pick up order. The lady on phone was very friendly and answers all my questions about their pizzas. My order was ready for pick up when I got there. We order 4 large pizzas and they were all delicious. We enjoyed the pizzas and defiantly will order again and I would give a 5 star for the service and food.
Cheers

Before placing the take-out order at the counter I was told that the wait was 10 minutes, 40 minutes later got the food and two miso soups as an apology. If you must, order over the phone. The place seems chaotic and service rushed and the dining are a bit on a dirty side so wouldn't recommend dining there. The sushi is not bad, the portions are generous and fresh, the quality of preparation is hit and miss depending on which person behind the counter prepared your food, sometimes you get it nicely put together sometimes a falling apart mess. Cheap and large "Japanese" style grub, not a fine dining by any means but then again the place never aspired to be one.

Not as good as it used to be.
By Morgana of New West (1 Review)
Submitted Friday, June 14, 2013 - 4:18pm [Dine in]

Went to ABC for 11 AM breakfast today. Go there once a month. I have 4 allergies and have found them very accommodating and have never had a reaction after dining there. The last two times, however have not been as good. I never eat butter and they are now using artificially flavored cooking oil, and it tastes awful. It is very strong artificial tasting and almost tastes stale. The hash browns are cooked on the grill which is sprayed with this oil. Half of the hash browns taste good but some of them taste like they have been soaking in this oil and it is stale to the point that I spit some out. They are also really overcooked on the edges. It's as if they have a huge pile of hash browns on the grill and just keep adding to it and so some of them are overcooked. They used to be so good before they started using that butter flavored oil.
I had a 3 egg omelette of spinach, tomatoe and onion. It was small like a 2 egg omelette and the spinach and uncooked onions were just set on top, not cooked in. The onion was in big chunks not diced and not good. I didn't eat them. Disappointing.
We were at a table just outside the kitchen and the bathroom. The air freshener in the bathroom is always very strong but every time someone went in or out we got a strong air freshener smell and that kind of spoils the taste of the food.
The Kitchen door was propped open and I think I could also smell some kind of cleaner coming from the kitchen.
Service was quite good. They took our order about 10 minutes after we got there and the food was brought out about 20 mins after that.
Coffee is good.

Truth be told, I would go back for sure. I found the food very delicious, but I also found it a good $7- $12 a plate for than you can find the same dish in other yummy Thai restaurants. The place is small & well décor'ed with great staff. The way the food is served is definetly more fancy that how Thai food is served-guess that's how they justify the over charge.

I think feeling the pressure from Cactus Club and Browns, Milestones has stepped up. Having kept most of their menu favourites, they have added a "celebrity chef" menu that far surpassed the stale Rob Feenie fare.

We were intending on going to Browns but the line up wasvery big and noticing that most of the patio partrons were drunk 20 year olds hooting and doing shots we decided to leave and go somewhere mor conducive to a nice social evening.

We were thinking of earls, but don't like the plastic fake bimbo waitresses who know nothing about service just posing for a tip. So we went to Milestones. It was busy but no line up - perfect. Out hostess was smart and could actually create a full sentence without the word "Like".

Our waitress was also, classy, professional an over 25. WOW 2 for 2. We had fantastic service. And, the food was actually amazing. The quinoa shrimp was the most inovative delicious thing I've had in a long time. Crab cakes - NO filler. All crab. Thai noodle stir fry excellent as were the 2 amazing chef menu desserts.

A plus all around. Good for you MIlestones - you finally have got it right. It was awesome - I think buster's undies were too tight.

Submitted Wednesday, May 22, 2013 - 11:00pm [Dine in]

Well not quite. Let's see - I went there today because I stopped in on my lunch hour to pick up some glasses.

There was a line up even at 11:30 on a Wednesday. I'm not sure of the quality of the hot food but the masses seemed to be sucking it up. They had chicken noodle soup labelled as vegetarian vegetable soup. I pointed it out to some staff member who did nothing. They have tilapia or some other cheap fish for $9.99 - no bargain. Laughable actually.

The veggie wrap was $4 - one wrap cheese and raw veggies - they're still making big money.

The cinnamon bun and coffee is good for $2 but the cinnamon gets over powering.

The breakfast is the best deal for $2 or whatever it is. Liquid scrambled eggs, unsalted hash browns and meat. But if you want to skip one item and have more of another that's ok. They do make good coffee. Very good.

A lot of people were having chili and garlic bread - seemed very popular.

I dunno - I never look forward to eating there but if I have jingly change in my purse and I'm hungry when there I'll indulge. Definately not a destination . Maybe I'll try hitting it up for drinks on Friday night - it's licenced.

The dinner we ordered was not great almost like it was like leftovers , burnt eggrolls , Luke warm food . We did call to complain " not in a mean way. very polite the fellow that answered the phone was very nice , we heard in the background the owners ( not sure ) could have been the cooks? They told him "they never had a bad review" and not to order from them again . I believe if I owned the restaurant I would make sure the customer was treated better.

I would not recommend this place to anyone
