I went this past Friday and they apparently have a yearly tradition -- singing the Twelve Days of Christmas as a bar! So much fun! My friend and I had a great evening and weren't expecting anything besides a meal. This is a great neighbourhood place. I had a mini burger and a great bowl of clam chowder. Will definitely go back and eat more mini meals! It was well worth the $15 cab ride from my home.
My family and I love going here - it has a great, relaxed atmosphere (nicely decorated, too), everything is clean, the service is fast and friendly, and the food is really, really good. We especially love their dumplings!! The best part is that the prices are very reasonable - I feel like we can have a decent meal, fairly healthy, and quickly, without breaking the bank. Their drinks are delicious as well, but do make the bill creep up, so we have those if we're in the mood for a treat. I would strongly recommend this place to try.
Nice surprise. Used a groupon coupon and was very well received. Service was great. Only problem was lukewarm coffee which was replaced immediately. Spinach dip was excellent as was the basic burger and beef dip. Burger was huge with a bun that stayed together when held by hand. Very generous amount of meat in the beef dip which came with a toasted bun. The garlic fries were terrific. Restroom was clean and very upscale. Kudos all around. I still have 2 groupons so I will be back again and again.
We were seated quickly and given menus. Pretty standard and then Lisa came over and said she was here to take care of us. So refreshing! Would we like something to drink? Give us a minute to review the menu.
So we ordered a bottle of Savignon Blanc, a little pricey but do the math, it's about 2 drinks each for the 2 of us and that's cheaper than $9 per glass. This was a birthday celebration so spare no expense....
Chicken, 2 items on the menu appealed to us, Portobello Mushroom Chicken and Chicken Masala. The meals were both very aromatic, tasted great and there was much more starch there than we needed. The size of the Mushroom chicken breast was awesome while the volume of the Masala chicken chunks were a little wanting.
The atmosphere, (the decor), the service and the food were great and we'll do it again. The price of it all was a little over the top, $35 for wine, $20 for each entree, but the gift card helped. Depending on your station in life, the experience here can be just fabulous. Hopefully you can enjoy.
