We've been on the look-out for good (Westernized) Chinese take-out in the Coquitlam area. The only way we learned about this place was by receiving a flyer. Over the past few months we have ordered from here 6x.

My husband and I are quite happy with this restaurant -- the phone service and level of understanding of our order is very good (and no substitutions/strange items we've received from other places), delivery time is good (35-45 min.), food is hot and tastes fresh (veggies are tender-crisp), food is not salty (we add little to no salt to our cooking), and the portions and relative pricing are very good.

We will continue to order from here. The only thing we're finding is the flavours aren't as strong as we're used to (maybe a bit too westernized?) -- the wontons could use more spices, Singapore noodles - more curry powder and honey garlic pork -- more garlic. That said, we like strong flavours so it's a matter of taste. I recommend giving this place a try for take-out/delivery. We have yet to go in person though I've read positive reviews elsewhere about the restaurant itself.

We have been ordering from this place for a few years- since we moved to the tri-cities in 2006. We always get delivery and we are always very happy with it. We each get a meal for one which gives us tastes of a few different dishes. There is plenty of food and it always tastes fresh and delicious. The service is very friendly when we call and when the food is delivered. The menu is extensive - highly recommend!

I agree, I can`t believe how few reviews there are for this place. We had no idea where to order good chinese food when we first moved to the tri-cities. This was the first place we picked and we`ve stuck with them since 2008. We are scared to try anywhere else. The food is always great! And they don`t add any MSG. We have always had consistantly great food at a decent price, good portions and service is always quick. Although we always get take out we have on one occassion gone in to sit down and eat and found it to be just as great. We almost always order the Family Dinner C and add an extra side or two. Only once did we ever have an issue and it was strictly an issue with waiting a long time for pick up on a very busy night. We didn`t complain but the manager took it upon himself and presented us with a coupon for $10 off our next order because of the extra long wait. I agree that there is an absence of stronger flavor but that`s the way I like it. It`s fresh, veggies have just the right crispness and we have been happy everytime we`ve ordered.

As the below reviewer said we got a flyer, I gave them a call for pick-up. We are in Poco and delivery is a bit far so Wifey went to get in. I used to work in the most busiest chinese restaurant in the Tri-Cities.. learned Cantonese and prepped wontons and egg rolls for 3 years so you can trust my opinion. First off the menu was well layed out colourful and priced medium and up, so I grabbed a combo to get a bit of an understanding on multiple dishes and it was about a half hour before close on a Sunday and I explained to the girl on the phone the flyer first time customer etc. The dish was about half of the weight of any combo from anywhere my wife had a few bites and disliked it, it was well below par for the price and the hype I am glad that I didn't order 4 dishes and spent 40-50 bucks. I would have called back to complain but by the time it was on the table they were closed, with such an opportunity in the area you think they would really take pride in their food but it was bland, flavorless and undersized. I have had better "chinese food" at a food court in 2 different malls.
