I would never go back there. Food is ok not the best. But the service was horrible! I ordered and got my food it wasnt quick. Than we decided to order another roll, just one. We waited over 20mins and I asked if they even started it they said no! We were so shocked! They were not busy. And in that small store this one waiter was running everywhere and the kitchen lady came out and was talking so loud!!! If u want cheap average food and if ur ok with loud evironment and slow service sure go for it but if I were u I won't go. Waste of time.
For those how did not visit this seclude , private and small restaurant , pls do so . I so good food , affordable by even a single mom or on income salary and is romantic to . The chef is cooking on spot , no frozen food or cold dishes are served. It is new renovate and is much beautifull now.
Ingredients feels in your mouth as fresh and tasty and not dnagerous at all. They have even for picky kids other food that can make them happy. Nice tea waiting for you until food arrives , music nice. All together is a wonderfull place to re date you husbunds or mates or to have a family reunion .
i ordered some sushi and sashimi and tataki for pick up.
i wasnt hungry that much and i ordered a caterpillar roll for myself and
my the other friends got enough foods for themselves.
actually, their price was so cheap and i didnt expect the quality of their foods
so i didnt order enough for me.
however... when i tasted the caterpillar roll, it was amazing.
i cant believe how they can offer such a nice quality sushi with such a low
price.
all of my friends loved tada sushi's foods and i regreted to order only one
item because once i ate the sushi i became hungry.
i will order tada sushis foods soon again. a lot of food next time.
thanks tada sushi!!
We've been trying to find a new regular sushi place in Coquitlam for some time now since our regular place closed down. Tada Sushi is tucked away in a small shopping complex in between Woody's pub and the French Quarter pub on Brunette. I've driven by so many times but never realized it was there. The restaurant is small (only 4 tables) and the decor simple but it's clean and tidy. The health inspection reports are all okay too so I'll take that as a good sign. Tada sushi has been there for a while but based on my discussion with the staff, the current owner has owned it since March or May of 2011.
We ordered the chicken dinner box and was amazed at the value. For $6.99 we got chicken teriyaki with rice, 4 pieces of california roll, tempura, miso soup and garden salad. Everything was very tasty and definitely on par with other sushi places we've gone to. I'm used to paying about $12.00 for pretty well the exact same thing at other restaurants. What a deal! We also ordered the dynamite roll and it was very fresh and tasty too.
The staff was friendly and were quick to happily clean up my daughter's spilled drink. It would have been more efficient if they had brought out the miso soup before the dinner box as other restaurants tend to do but overall I was pleased with the service.
We'll definitely be paying Tada sushi another visit in the near future.
