We (two seniors & daughter) arrived in the plaza's parking lot a few minutes before the restaurant's opening time of 11:30am, and found the lot very busy (it's rather small, serves a good number of stores, restaurants, and etc., with much of the parking limited to 30-minutes), but we were able to find a spot (for longer parking) without having to go up on the roof, where additional parking is available. (Note: we found out later, that when you dine at the restaurant, they provide "parking permits" that you can put in your vehicle to get 2-hours of parking within the 30-minute parking spots.)

We were the first customers to enter, but were joined by other diners very soon after, and by noon, several tables in the restaurant were occupied.

We found the restaurant clean, 'open' in layout, and bright. There are tables (for 2-4 diners per each) arranged around the perimeter of the restaurant, and several rows of tables throughout the middle of the restaurant - the latter arrangement allowing service for four or more diners at one table, or the putting together of tables, for service to more, as need be. A good arrangement we thought, for rather efficient use of space.

Upon entering, and selecting where we wished to sit, service to our table was prompt, courteous, and friendly. Cups of tea were brought to our table with the menus. We requested a pot of tea, and it was brought when the server returned to take our order.

The food ordered:

-- lunch vegetable bento box ($8.50) - which came with salad, veggie or avocado roll (the latter was chosen), a daily special (an orange), tofu teriyaki, and a selection of tempura.

-- party tray 'C' ($35.95) - which came with several pieces of the following rolls: California, dynamite, chopped scallop, red, and orange mango, and sushi (three pieces per each of): tuna, salmon, chopped scallop, and masago.

There was no additional charge for the tea, and miso soup was provided at no additional charge as well.

Our dining experience: this was a first visit for us, and we were solidly-impressed!! The 'environment' (ambience, layout, and etc.) was perfectly fine. The service attentive (and not 'overdone'), friendly, and courteous. The food -- why we went there!! was fresh, well-prepared and presented - and in one word (difficult for me!!), was 'yum'!!!

A return visit is definitely being planned.
