Tasty and Fast Service Sushi!

Living in the area, my fiance and I eat at O-Sushi all of the time. Not only is the service always good and very quick, the food is great!

I typically order a California Roll, Yam Roll, Sunamono Salad and miso and I absolutely love it! My fiance always has something different and it too is always up to par. The odd occasion you get something that isn't as good as last time, but O-Sushi always lives up to being a really great place to eat.

Plus, it's cheap!!!

Although the decor is not the greatest, the food and people make up for it.

Mr.O has a great selection of Maki rolls, sushi, wild and farmed salmon (I actually saw someone send wild salmon back and asked for farmed, sick!).

He will also mix and match his combos for you. If you have an idea for a roll just let him know and he may put it together for you or you may see it the next time you're in.

Best value, get the House Box. Delicious!

It's almost scary telling people about this place because I actually feel quite selfish. It's a little diamond of a place run by Mr O and his consort of waitresses and sous chefs. The range of food is spectacular and the quality and price is simply stunning.

We eat here at least once per week, mostly take out, as the place is in a desperate need of a makeover. There are two booths and around five tables but the food is excellent, particularly the sashimi.

One of our favourite sushi places

I added this place to the profile as was not showing up. This place can be found among the shops in the Parkway area of Coquitlam just off Johnson going towards Westwood Plateau.

My wife and I eat here regulary as the quality of food, service and prices rock. They have great variety and nice boxes. Sushi is always fresh and we have never left unhappy in the 10 times we have bee here.

You won't be disapppointed. Lots of take out from here too.

I have been going here for some time. It is unfortunate that the preceding reviewer had a bad experience. (And maybe good for those of us who go to this small Japanese Restaurant - lol)

This place has 2 booths (somewhat small - can probably accommodate 6 people max, each) and 6 tables. There is one flat screen Tv on the wall. We've caught parts of Canucks games during meals there. They used to have some kind of table top liner that always seemed sticky - glad they are gone. Mr. O is very welcoming and gives you a smile and a feeling that he recognizes you and are happy that you've chosen to revisit his establishment.

There is usually only 1 server on, and sometimes she has to deal with all the tables and the numerous take out orders this places receives. If you can be patient about that or keep it in mind, your experience will be good.

If you arrive at the standard meal times you might have to wait.

The food is good, the lunch/dinner boxes are reasonably priced, and Mr. O. and the servers are quite accommodating with my requests to change numerous things in the box. My wife likes the sushi there.

We've been there many times, and have only had one or two occasions where tempura batter has been soggy or the tempura sauce isn't made properly. (An apprentice in the back, perhaps?) but generally, the food is very consistent and very good!

There is no way these reviews are real.

A few of my friends mentioned O Sushi, which is right by my house off parkway. I enjoy sushi more than your average, and was very disappointed. Sub-par sushi similar to some takeout sushi you could get at 7-11. The rolls and sushi was extrememly weak, boring, not fresh, bad texture. Not that cheap either, pretty weak decor but that doesnt matter too much.

Just another sushi joint that you walk out of feeling completely ripped off. I don't understand how these reviewers rated it so high. That is unless they run the restaurant. A shame as its super close to me.
