Korean food in a little house. You'll feel like a good friend when you eat here.
After looking at my average marks on food, I decided to write about my favorite korean restaurant. First, the service is superb. They recognize you only after coming maybe 2 times. This is why they call themselves Good Friends. They try to remember you. When they bring you the food, they say "enjoy!" and "thank you!" Atleast the usualy female server does. The food is very good and worth it. We usually have a wrap meal, which has lettuce, meat, rice, and a soup for less than $13. The kimbap is the best I've ever had in the Greater Vancouver area & not a lot of restaurants make kimbap. Our favorite is marinated beef. We also had calamari kimbap which was very interesting & tasty. Their seafood/beef tofu soup is pretty good, but not the most flavor. The side dishes are generously refilled & come decently portioned. Also, the side dishes have more variety than some places. The kimchi fried udon is so good! It's tasty & fried dry unlike Haroo. so wonderful. the only dish we don't like is the seafood pancake. It's not crispy enough. But there are tons of other dishes for you to choose from. The house is very quaint, with spacious couches. It's just too far of a drive for us unless it's a weekend. Also, Song, the owner, is very nice. Kamsamnida!
