Eatwell serves authentic, home style Pho along with other Vietnamese cuisine.
Been coming here for a while. Good selection on their menu. Good food and good value for the money, especially when you order their combos. Their broth is lighter than other Vietnamese restuarants I've been too, and that's the thing I like about this place. Other rice dishes are quite good as well.
Very good Pho noodle soup, and chicken. The owner will remember you after a few times and is more friendly after that. Avoid this place from 11:45am-12:30pm Mon-Fri. They get the high school crowd in at that time and it gets crazy in there. My last time there, I waited for 35 minutes to get my Pho even though I was the second customer in the restaurant. It was the only time I waited even more than 10 min, but on this day the owner chose to get all of the high school students fed before making my order. Haven't returned since in principal, but I do miss the food.
Had to pick up my friend in Coquitlam and thought we drop by this place to eat, it looked alright from the outside and the reviews seems alright, can't be that bad right? WRONG!
The food was overly salty, it seemed like I was eating plain salt, the food was luke-warm and even cold. I talked to the person working there and they said it was "hot" when I took it out and just left. We took a few bites of everything and just got the bill, over half of the food was still on the plate and they didn't even ask why or make it up to us. Paid the bill and head to the washroom, the entire restaurant was dirty and what made me lose it was seeing bugs crawling around the restaurant as I was heading to the washroom. YUCK!
Not recommending anyone this place, I'd tell them to drive to Pho Hoa in Coquitlam center instead of eating at this SH*TTY place!
Stumbled across this restaurant while taking my dog to the nearby vet. I wish I had known about it sooner!
Rice/noodle dishes are tasty, about what you'd expect from any number of Vietnamese places, but what really sets Eat Well above is their Pho and the overall value you get for your money.
I'd compare the Pho at this little hole in the wall with the Pho at the now legendary Pho Tam in Surrey--it's that good!
For those in the Tri-Cities area, there is (IMO) no better place to get your Pho fix.
We've been coming here for years (at least 6) and I was so glad we stumbled upon this place. It's consistently good food and great prices. What they didn't spend on ambience, you save on the food. The previous reviewer said the food was salty and cold. Of our over 30+ visits, we've never experienced this problem. The kitchen seems immaculate and in fact, you can see right into it from the takeout/pay window as well as a large door. How many restaurants allow us to see what's going on inside? It's a local favourite and I hope they'll be here for a long time to come. In fact, I'm getting hungry writing this. I hope our family can go this weekend. Oh, the owner (lady) has memorized our favourite orders even though we only make it about 5-6 times a year. As soon as we walk in, she asks if that's what we're having. I was always amazed at this since she knew it after about 5 visits. I overhear her asking other customers the same thing. If you're looking for atmosphere or fancy wait staff, this is not the place. If you like basic vietnamese food at amazing prices, give it a try.
