A cafe-style restaurant amid the furniture stores on United Boulevard.
I was lost amid the furniture warehouse stores in Coquitlam and I needed to find a place to get some food. I spotted CC and in I went. They have some kind of foil on the windows so you can't see inside, but once I got past the anonymous looking exterior, I found a welcoming cafe inside. There aren't many choices in the neighborhood, and this place was packed.
The decor was simple, and it was clean enough. They don't have table service and you have to go to the central food prep/cashier area to order. I went for the club sandwich and fries. When I didn't throw money in the tip jar, I noticed the server suddenly became "Ms. Surly". Hey, she didn't do anything but take my money. Some other person made my food...
Other than that minor speedbump, the experience was fine. The food was nothing special, but it was good enough and was available when I needed it.
Will I be back? Only if I am nearby and hungry.
