Since 1984 C-Lovers Fish & Chips has been serving fish & chips and other seafood produced in their open concept kitchens. Only the best quality, freshest ingredients are used like hand selected Alaskan halibut or our locally grown farm fresh kennebec potatoes.
We have eaten here often and always had consistently great food here but we recently had a bad experience when we ordered food to ake away. The halibut was rock hard. Irregular shape like it was frozen product and when we informed the manager he was disinterested & unapologetic which I found to be a great disappointment.
If you want to dine at a first rate fish and chips restaurant, this is your place. The initial serving is large at six pieces of fish, the fish is lightly battered and cooked perfectly, the chips are just the right number to set off the fish and the service is superb.
Altogether, this is a not-to-be-missed dining experience if you love good fish and chips.
I have been to may of the ayce fish & chip places and this one is average. Naturally you can get as much as you want but the initial serving is very small comprised of four very small pieces of fish & very few chips. Even the beverage, in my case a coke ,was fairly small , especially since half the glass was ice. The place is very clean & the severs were very efficient
This place is great! Fast service, nice newly updated interior, good servers. The initial AYCE plate is a mixof fries and fish but after that you can order just fish, no fries and eat as much of that as you want. Price includes drink. They're pretty quick too, even though it's usually packed when I go for ayce there.
