One of a chain of bubble tea houses in Metro Vancouver and area.
I was cruising in Coquitlam looking for BBT when I spotted this place. I have been to the Robson location for coconut tea and was disappointed, but I was willing to give this spot a try.
The decor is very funky and I was served immediately by the helpful counter person. I went with the strawberry/raspberry slush and added coconut jelly. They use frozen berries, but hey, at least it isn't a "fruit-like" mix. I did think the extra dollar for jelly was a rip-off.
The result was a very tasty slush, which dented my wallet to the tune of $4.75...
Not bad, but could be better value.
They have the best taste of the bubble tea over the Coquitlam and Burnaby area especially the smoothie seriers. The best thing I like about them is they open late so I have place to hang out with my friends at night. I hope they can bring back the stamp card program plus I hate HST which increases their prices.
First off, if you go in on a Saturday night like I did, there are TONS of Asian teenagers inside... seems like a favourite local hangout.
The service was pretty fast considering how many orders there were, and the bubble tea was good. You get a stamp card... buy 10, get 1 free.
Interesting decor / atmosphere as well.
This place is comparable to Pearl Fever.
Lacks good BBT places in Burnaby and Coquitlam unlike Richmond.
Bubble world is probably the best one to go. Too bad they don't have Hot Tea selection like the one near Metrotown. Good chewy pearls. Ask for less sugar for it is pretty sweet.
BBT Coquitlam is closest to my house and is the only place for bbt.
