Korean, raw seafood and hotpots
Yeah, it's definitely a seafood restaurant and it's definitely Korean. It's not quite like the usual though. Not a lot of BBQ, very heavy on fish type stuff, especially hotpots and "sashimi". (Makes sense, I think that's where it originated anyways).
It seems a bit pricier compared to most Korean restaurants, but not much if you compare to Japanese restaurant with platefuls of sashimi.
It's hard to really judge the "doneness" of raw fish. I've had better sashimi, I've had worse. It was packed with a bunch of Koreans and they all had the raw fish specialties, so I imagine it can't be that bad.
Problem is, this restaurant sits in a weird "neutral zone". You could get better sashimi elsewhere, but if you're looking for the stereotypical Korean, this is not it either. For something a little different, sure, it's worth a try. It's hard to pin it down as something really special though.
