We just moved to the Central Coqutialm area from Burnaby 3 weeks ago and wanted to find out the good pizza places to order from. I'm glad to say that Austin Heights Pizza is a definite keeper. I ordered 3 medium, 3 topping pizzas for $23.99 + taxes. The pizzas were really good, great sauce, lots of toppings and cheese. The crust is really good, not too thick and not too thin, with a bit of a sour tang to it, which is nice. It's a bit on the oily side, but I think that is due to the copious amount of cheese on each pizza. I'm used to great pizza places in Burnaby like Viva Sue and Beethoven's and I would put Austin Heights right up there with those aforementioned places. It's not much too look at, as it is strictly a take out joint. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare, but there are 2 designated parking spots directly in front of the store. Definitely recommended.
This is where we go for our Pizza when ordering take out, The ingredients are always fresh, and the toppings are generous, with real cheese. The three for one party special is a great value, especially when everyone likes something different! The lasagna has great flavour. We usually pick up, and our order is always hot and ready. The staff is very friendly on the phone and in person. Way better than the local pizza chains, and definitely less expensive!
