Canadian based family restaurant in comfortable surroundings with a large and varied menu. ABC's eggs bennies are famous, but so too is their pulled pork sandwich, their fish and chips, their pot roast dinner. And the desserts!
We attended this location and booked their backroom for my parents anniversary party dinner. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of the food came out in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. They have there liquor license (not sure what previous review is talking about as they have a really nice lounge and a big fully stocked bar) we have already booked our family's Christmas gathering in the room. Thanks again for making our evening so special.
Happened upon this location the other day, and very happy we did.
My girlfriend and I had lunch and it was fantastic. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich and she had the Steak sandwich. Mine was so yummy and my friend said her steak was cooked perfectly and so tender !!
The server was great and very engaging..made us feel right at home!!
We really liked the decor, which is very different than other ABC's.
We will be back for sure!!
Overall the food was good, the same as any other ABC restaurant, BUT the place was empty on a Saturday night, so slow that one of the waitresses was actually cleaning the blinds . Which is crazy considering it's the middle of the weekend.
Recommendations: They should get the games and the gift shop that the schoolhouse location has, that's what makes an ABC, I think that a lot of restaurants have struggled in that location....
No liquor license yet so that may have contributed to less customers.
Honestly might not go back unless they improve the overall ambiance.
