A great Discovery and a Bridlewood Gem
By Dreadteir of Calgary (1 Review)
Submitted Sunday, January 23, 2011 - 2:48pm [Dine in]

Last year the Chiasso Coffee Company opened in my building and I discovered the word of Third Wave Coffee.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Caffe Crema was almost right next door to me in Bridlecrest. The only regret I had was that I hadn't gone in to discover them sooner.

Every time I go in I can look forward to an expertly crafted beverage, whether it be a French Press or a Latte, and to sit down on the leather couch and read a newspaper or a book. Don't forget to try one their Panini Sandwiches as well, they are simple and quite tasty!

Caffe Crema gets Five Stars from me any day .

Love the atmosphere, friendly & efficient staff & cozy, comfortable surroundings. Nice variety of eats, treats & other artsy items for sale. Also a variety of activities & special entertainment nights happening. Great place to meet friends & relax over great coffee - probably the best latte around. The close proximity to home makes it even better - nestled within walking distance of several communities. Excellent!

Can't get enough of this stuff!

This pizza is really good! The BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Primo Veggie and Mediterranean Veggie are my favourites! I know...I eat a lot of pizza... This is also the only company where I enjoy the multigrain crust. I find Pizza 73's to just fall apart and taste bad. I usually go at lunch for their $6 individual pizza and pop deal. I can also confirm they do make their own dough and hand toss their pizza's as they prepare them. The staff at this location are great and I always get great service. The dips are a must. My favourite is the Cilantro! On Friday's this location provides complimentary cinnestix and organic juice. A big hit with my son, he doesn't mind waiting for the pizza on those days! Overall a great tasting pizza and amazing service.

If you have food allergies this is the place for you!

This is one of my favourite places to go when I visit Calgary. They cater to many different kinds of food allergies. There are wheat free, dairy free, onion and garlic free options, raw food options, vegan, vegetarian, etc.

The menu is done up in a really cool way and the cafe is super cute.

The servers there are great and they are well trained in the menu and suggestions for different allergies, preferances, etc.

Go check it out!!

Bad Service, Food Quality Makes McDonalds look "posh"
By Foodie09 of Kitsilano Vancouver BC (1 Review)
Submitted Tuesday, November 9, 2010 - 6:00pm [Dine in]

I was in Calgary for a recent business trip and this restaurant had caught my attention from their website so I was highly anticipating this dining experience. I was let down right from the start of my horrendous experience. The staff was unfamilair with the menu and with providing recommendations and very confused even though the restaurant was slow on a Sunday evening. My food was cold and the chicken was not well done but BURNT. I ordered "almond & cardamom chicken breast with yellow pepper sauce,
shiitake mushroom" and the mushrooms were soggy and bland. As much as I love eating burnt chicken, I was not in the mood to pay that much money for burnt chicken so I politely asked for another piece which wasn't crunchy this time. The manager, Kam, came out, provided me with the same meal this time it was undercooked and the shitakes were still soggy. I wasn't looking for compensation just some decent service. The chai I ordered was cold and tasted like a runny syrup.

The website is well designed and inviting, too bad the staff lacks training and proper manners. At this rate of service and rubbery, flavourless food, one would be better going to your local grocery store and spending $4 on a can of cury flavouring and marinating your own chicken breast and feeling content.

This is a wonderful little cafe. It has a very relaxed atmosphere which is very welcoming. The coffee is excellent with one of the best americanos I have ever had the pleasure of sipping. The breakfast and pastries also make an excellent treat. If you are a cafe hopper like myself, this one is certainly worth checking out.

AMAZING Waitress And Good Food. Best For Your Money
By Brandon of Calgary Alberta (1 Review)
Submitted Tuesday, November 2, 2010 - 3:18pm [Dine in]

Last week I went to Sammy's Chophouse. It's a hole in the wall pub/diner. I had passed it many times. I don't regret going in. I met my waitress named Christina. WHAT A SMILE and drop dead sexy. I didn't expect that from a place like this. She was probably the cutest and nicest waitress I have ever had, even in the high end establishments. I got the steak sandwich, and it was very good for the price.
Even if the food wasn't any good, I'd go back to see the waitress again and again. Next time I'm going to tip her good. I didn't go with a lot of cash because I didn't expect it to be as good as I thought, otherwise I would have tipped her and had a few more beer. Next time!

So-Caffe Crema is my new favourite home away from home. I can walk there (huge bonus) and I love the espresso. I can't believe there is a place this good so far south-you'd expect it on 17th or downtown, but now we have one too! I love free wi-fi, I love great service and I love that it has a HUGE seating area. Ridiculously wonderful :)

If you love to drink beer, be in a relaxed environment , get great service and huge portioned food...This is the pub for you . Not only is Three Crowns one of the biggest and cleanest establishments I have ever been too, the Staff make a great point to know every regular and every newbie. My first encounter I sat at the bar by my self. I ate the King Burger which was Giant , Juicy and had me wanting another one three days later. When I got up to leave maybe 2 hours after I arrived , The fellow behind the bar said good bye ( using my name ) shook my hand and told me to come back soon. I have since been back every week, for my night out , a great meal and wonderful company ! I would give this pub a 10 out of 10. I do not have one complaint!

Enough is Enough!
By mkoper of Calgary Alberta (1 Review)

Everyone knows that having a Tim Hortons means owing a gold mine. Timmis is Timmis, but its hard to swallow when served in such a condescending way. Long Waits, rude service, unhelpful cashiers, and Today topped it all off. Today I picked up a dozen cookies and a pack of 40 Tim Bits, an order which took over 10 minutes to fill with attendants looking panicked at each other like ‘you do it-no you do it’ plus three minutes to study the order screen to see what complicated order I have asked for, when all I want is an assortment of 40 Tim Bits. They had 8 different Tim Bits available; I thought that was a great assortment, (5 of each would make a great work treat). That beside the point, I got my order come to the office to find ONLY THREE types of Tim Bits and all Sour Dough which I hate. Like REALLY! OMG 8 different Tim Bits and you give me 3 Sour Dough. Thank you for the Rude, Slow, Wasteful Tim Horton’s EVER. I do not write reviews, but Enough is Enough!

the services is very good,I think it is a family run place, the price is average,so if we were close to this place

makes good Oyster pancakes and special salted ducks, but it turn out to be another cantonese one.
