We called in advance and were told that they don't take reservations, but that it would be no problem getting in on a weekend evening between 6:30 and 7:00. To say that was misleading would be an understatement. The place was full with the usual melee in the front lobby and almost no parking left. Luckily I came in 15 minutes early at 6:45 so that limited the wait for my guest which ended up being a lengthy 50 minutes. The hostesses seemed to enjoy playing hide the reservation list so that it was never possible to actually check on progress. I sat at the bar waiting which was slightly less uncomfortable but had I known of the wait I would have left just on principle. The mixed drink I had was reasonable but the $12 wine glasses were a bit much. After being seated we naturally got a table near the entrance way so the poor location over came the average to slightly better than average ambience of the overall restaurant. This is by no means an intimate dining location. Go elsewhere if you're planning on proposing. I had a sirloin steak and my companion had the prime rib. For a steakhouse, we both were disappointed. That's not to say the food was inedible - just not steakhouse quality. The meals were presented nicely and the onion soup starter was quite nice.

Are server was pleasant and competent, but the service was a bit rushed...again, not an intimate dining experience.

Based on this one experience I would say that there are a lot of chains that will save you a few bucks and offer the same or better amenities. I've heard more than one person recommend this restaurant, so I'll give it a second chance given that there are so few decent restaurants south of Anderson, but only one more chance.
