Most delicious pizza ever!

after having pizza from Viva Sue's we wont go anywhere else! The pizza is so delicious; They dont cheap out on the quantity or quality of ingredients. They are always really friendly and when they say it will be around 45-60 mins (which is still really good for pizza delivery), it usually only takes just over half an hour. Not much to say about the amibance since we always get delivery, but any pizza lover will not be dissapointed!

Excellent Pizza

The crust is awesome, very light, not heavy and crisp, I like to reheat in the oven and get the crust really crisp. I get the house pizza, its awesome. For me its ALOT of cheese, so I ask for half cheese and find it perfect, otherwise its sooo heavy, but that is my preference. Pizza is really for take out, and this is really great.

Tried their pizza twice, still disappointed

I work close to here and a coworker suggested I try their pizza.

1st try -- after work around 5pm, the traffic around Canada way is terrible, took me 20 minutes (normally a 5 min drive). Not their fault, but a heads up for anyone thinking about picking up pizza around that time.
So I get in there, hoping they might have pizza by the slice but they only do whole pizzas by that time. Damn.

2nd try -- I came in around 12 pm for lunch. They had 1 slice of pepperoni, the others were in the oven, was going to take about 5min, no big deal. So the pizzas come out and I'm standing there looking at the employees, but they're not putting together my order at all. Waited another 5 min for them to slowwwwwly cut up the pizza and put 2 slices in a to go box. Not impressed by the service, or by the pepperoni pizza. I've definitely had better and waited less.

3rd try -- someone brought a Hawaiian pizza from them to work. This one was actually ok, but again, I've had better.

I don't understand why this place is getting rave reviews, I tried to like this place but it just doesn't provide the kind of food or service that I've received from other small family owned pizza joints.

Best Pizza in Town!

When it comes to crowning the best pizza place in town, I'm not a faithful person. I call the best, the best and if I find a better place, I will call that the best! If you like pizza with full cream mozzarella that bubbles crunchy onto the regular-sized crust, this is the place for you! I find it best to order as simply as possible (with the fewest toppings) so as to let the cheese shine through. I could be right beside a regular pizza joint, but would still travel miles to go to this place instead!

This place is not for people who like trendy, gourmet pizza or who think that they can eat pizza and not gain 12 pounds the next day (not that there's anything wrong with people with such preferences... it's just that I doubt you will like this place then).

This is the best place for good old fashioned Canadian style pizza with a crunch crust and cheese thick enough to hinder the view of the tomato sauce! (what's up with the American pizza I see on TV?! I can actually SEE the red of the tomato sauce! Yuck!) For those who like it as just mentioned, come home to the best pizza you've ever tasted!

Best Pizza in Burnaby for sure! Delicious ingredients, and super nice people. It's an amazing deal for what you get. There are many choices when ordering and you can always build your own. They also have some packaged built. I haven't tried the Pasta but the Pizza is the best I've had in all of Burnaby.

I would definitely recommend this place to people as well as order from it in the future.

Searching for Great Pizza, Stops Here!
By ASbby of Burnaby (1 Review)
Submitted Monday, August 30, 2010 - 2:53pm [Take-out]

I was curious to try Viva Sue after reading such great reviews, not to mention driving by it almost every day on my commute. I like Burgersnwiches, have visited many “average” pizza’s places in the NW/Bby area, and after reading his recent review thought I would give it a try. My bf & I stopped in last Friday night for pick up and right away you could feel it was a nice family owned establishment. Yes the ambiance is nothing special, but as most pick up or deliver it was no big deal. The pizza- service & value all make up for it! I didn’t really know what to expect when I read they use full cream mozzarella, but after 1 bite I figured it out. The cheese was so fresh and creamy, hands down the best cheese on a pizza I have ever tasted. We ordered the Super Sue, which had a ton of toppings. I was very pleasantly surprised to see both green and red peppers on it, & I even liked the olives, which is not a usual for me. There is no question I will be back to Viva Sue, the question remains will I ever eat pizza from another pizza place in the Burnaby again, probably not.

The folks at Sue's love thier business, care for their product, do not deviate from there proven recipes, quality product... It works, and well!

Once you try, you'll be a Viva Sue fanatic too!

This is how it should be

I work in New Westminster, which is the home of mostly average pizza. After many years of being bored with the same average food, I decided to venture out to the other neighboring cities to see if they offered something different. After reading the positive reviews here about Viva Sue, I figured that this would be my first stop. Wow...first time lucky...this pizza is fabulous. Perfect toppings, perfect cheese (real mozzarella), perfect crust. No need for me to check out anywhere else...I have found what I was looking for. I'm a big guy, usually a medium is a perfect fill for me. Viva Sue's pizza is so filling I had two pieces left, which is unheard of. Great value...you will not be disapointed.
