The only difference this place has from others is I think it is indepdently owned and operated. Not a corporate chain, So, that is good. They have the usual sandwiches and soup plus a couple of hot entrees. Never been too impressed with the hot food. I haven't had breakfast there either but I hear it's not bad
The sandwiches are good but they do the one thing that bugs me with these type of places. It's always a crap shoot as to bigyour meal will be. They use store bought bread and sometimes you might get the larger middle peices and sometimes you mite get teeny miniscule end bits. The other day my friend and I each had a veggie sanwich with avocado which did ring in at well over $7. She had multi grain and got the middle pieces. Hers was a fair size. I had sourdough and got two halves that were each only a couple of inches in diameter for the same price. Why don't these places get it? I didn't complain as I didn't want to look like a pig, but really where's the value? Or the fairness for that matter.
You do get a salad with it and to be fair, when there's potato salad it's good, But again sometimes different people get wtay more than others. Perhaps thats why people tend to hit up chain restaurants no surprises.
