First impression upon opening my pizza boxes was they looked too good to eat. Each pie was perfectly cut into eight pieces I guess they use a template. I prefer it to the hand cut where you get a big piece then a sliver. I always get stuck with the sliver. Sometimes life sucks. Pizzas were great tasting works of art. Topping evenly distributed and plentiful. Time line for pick up was spot on. Very impressed and will be back.
I have to say I do not agree with the other reviewers on this place. The pizza is fine if you like the typical, over-loaded kind with no definite tastes. I am a fan of really aromatic, herbed and saucy pizza, redolent of basil and seasonings, and this was not that. It was pretty bland but the crust was nice, even though I am a thin-crust fan as well. We ordered 2 different pizzas so it wasn't a case of lack of a comparison; they were both short on sauce and flavour.
Ordered from here for 10 years. Was always really good. Best pizza in town in my opinion.
Delivery was always when they said it would be, and their pizza always freshly made. You can tell they know what they are doing.
We ordered pasta once from them and it was a little watery, we called them and they brought us a new one right away. We didn't expect that at all. The only problem with food from there in 10 years of ordering more than 40-50 times.
Round House has become our new favorite take out pizza place. Not only is the pizza really good, they load on the toppings as well. They use quality ingredients...everything always tastes fresh. The owners are very friendly and the service has always been good. We've been looking for a new place to order pizza from and I'm glad that we found this one! Round House is more of a take out restaurant but they do have a couple of small tables. I usually pick up the food and have not tried their delivery service. I like the fact that it's always bright and clean inside.
Had a great experience ordering on the phone. The guy was polite and told me that they would deliver out to Central Park area without a delivery charge. No problem with substitutions and the delivery was there before the ETA.
Pizzas were delicious and made great leftovers the next day. We will definitely order take out from Round House again.
I've only ordered from Round House Pizza a couple of times, but i have to say, that it is definetly one of the better places to get a pizza. They have a great 2-for-1 deal, with either medium or small pizzas. I usually phone for delivery, so i've only met the drivers. The staff that answer the phone are always friendly, and repeat the order back to you, which i find to be helpful. I've never had them deliver later than the time they quoted it would take. If anything, it's always a little bit early. The food isn't greasy either. Give Round House a try the next time you want to order a pizza.
