Ok, so I used a Group for this place, therefore got $15 off my food. But I have to admit, that even without the Groupon it was still a pretty good deal.
I came in on Tuesday the 7th of May right when the pub opened. It was empty, but what do you expect on a Tuesday morning?
I went and sat at the upper part of the pub / restaurant and my waitress of course give me a while to look at the menu. Since I had the groupon, I had decided to order both entree and an appetizer.
For Appetizer, I rodered the buffalo chicken wings, and for entree I ordered a double burger (Light Mayonaisse) and fries and a Pepsi to drink. My appetizer of wings came out first and I thought they were delicious. They were average price. It was good.
When my entree came I was pleasantly surprised. The beef patties were huge....I was really suprised and they were flavourful....just honest to goodness delicious.....I couldn't even finish it off and had to take a quarter of it home. I couldn't believe how good the food was here.
Regular price would had been just under $28, but paid only $15 with the Groupon. I was happy and the service was great too. Will definatly return
Oliver Twist Advertised on their Website that they would be celebrating St Patrick's Day with Fun & Events...we reserved a table for a group of us. When we got there...there was nothing. No event, no green beer, not even a decoration. The waitress was rude when we asked about it, she said she did not do the website. We asked to speak to the manager, she claimed there was no manager, we asked for a owner, she said he was not there, but would look into something. She did not come back. The rest of the service was very bad. The waitress continued to be rude. Barely visited the table, we had to stand up and hand her our plates to clear out table. A friend asked her about a plate and what it was, she stated it says on the menu what it is, I don't know how else to explain it. My friend said yes ok I can read. We waited once for over 20mins to order more appetizers and beer. We had to ask another waitress. I emailed the Website in the morning and quoted the advertisement regarding the St Patricks Day Event copy & pasting it in my email...when I checked to see if they responded...it was noted they immediately removed the add within the hour...very bad business and not even an appology.
We had gone there only due to the add and thought perhaps we would avoid downtown this time and have a good celebration and it was the pits, and poor service added to it. You would think at least the waitress would have been good.
