A neighborhood restaurant with yummy Chinese dishes at an affordable price.
As the biggest critic of Chinese food, I love coming to North Burnaby. The dishes are large and the lady at the front always gives me the soup of the day.
I love it how the lunch and dinner portions are large and I always leave with leftovers.
The food is good and filling, especially if we are busy and want a quick decent meal.
Anything on rice is always a sure bet, as well as their hot pot dishes and did I mention the soup? Yummy!
3 dishes off a set menu $31.50 with free soup, rice, and veg dish. Food was solid as expected. Service had no flow. One dish comes out then a 10 minute wait for the others. Kitchen doesn't understand the concept of getting everything out at once. Just start whatever takes the longest to cook first. Place was kinda old looking and the restroom needs some updating.
I used to go here with my girlfriend everyday for lunch when I was working in North Burnaby. I have since moved and have not been here for a while but it is an excellent place, and the lady that serves (I think she owns to place) is extremely friendly. She got to know us and knew what we wanted. The service was fast and the food was cheap priced. I will go back soon now as I am getting hungry thinking about this place! :)
