With several locations in the Lower Mainland, Nando's Chicken offers flame grilled chicken and side dishes such as coleslaw, spicy rice and spring mix salads.
Food: I ordered the Fiesta chicken platter. Strips of chicken, rice and salad. The chicken was so juicy and most, it melted in my mouth. The hot sauce is great also. Sister order the chicken pita and really enjoyed her meal as well.
Service: Basically self-serve restaurant where you order at the counter, grab a seat and they bring you your meal when it's ready. For what it is, our server was very friendly.
Ambiance: Great colors, comfy booths. More fancier than the food court locations.
When you feel like something a little lighter and less greasy for lunch, Nando's is a good bet. The chicken they serve is always delicious. The double leg meal is almost a weekly thing for me. I wouldn't recommend the kabob too much as the meat tastes unmarinated (just with sauce brushed on top). Their spanish rice, caesar salad, or peri fries are good sides. This particular location also has friendly staff, good service, and comfortable booths.
Had lunch at Nando's the other day with my wife. Had the half chicken with fries both of which were very good. The place was clean and nicely decorated.
I recommend this place for great chicken and fries. Much better than KFC and healthier.
Try the Piri-Piri fries. They are great and not too hot.
I like this location of Nando's for a weekend lunch with the gf. The food is decent and comes with good portion sizes. The ambiance is relaxed, without feeling like a cheap fast-food place. The pricing is about what you'd expect - roughly $30, after taxes, for two people. The only thing I don't like is that the menu is a little limited in terms of choices. Otherwise it's a good place.
The name of the restaurant says it all. If you have an urge for some non-deep-fried chicken, Nando's can help. I ordered the Fiesta plate, sort of a Tex-Mex presentation. Chicken wasn't overdone, seasoning was flavourful and mildly spicey.
