MJG Jangter offers a menu of authentic Korean BBQ.
I saw this place while filling up gas at Chevron as it is situated right behind the gas station. We decided to get some lunch there yesterday, and were a bit surprised to find a nearly empty restaurant at 12:30 on a Monday just steps from busy Kingsway. We ordered two lunch specials, a seafood noodle soup and a rice bowl. The cook probably neglected to rinse the boiled noodles, making the broth very starchy and kind of unpleasant. The rice bowl was bland. It's too bad, because the restaurant itself looks quite nice. The wooden booths were spacious and comfortable.
They did not honour what they advertised: 10% off was written on their lunch specials menu as well as on a sign outside. When we asked after receiving the bill, they said it's already discounted. Well, it did not make a lot of difference in the end because we would have left a bigger tip to make up for the 10% anyway. But they should have honoured their promise.
