Wanted to try something new in the fair close neighbourhood and am glad we checked this place out! I had the Stew of the day (Pork) and it was excellent...supplimented with some grilled vegetables which were really tasty. The place is small but the decor was nice...missed out on the Tiramisu but we will be back to try again!
We heard about this place through word of mouth and decided to try it today for lunch. Woah! What a delight! The decor was amazing... handcrafted walls, tables, and intricate marble, wood, and metal-work.
The lunch menu offered everything from wraps to salads to soups... chicken, pork, beef, and lamb.
I chose the chicken ceasar wrap with the soup of the day and a Greek salad. The whole meal cost only $7.99.
My companion chose the lamb wrap with the same soup and salad as me. His cost only $7.99.
The soup of the day was a light creamy chicken veggie soup. I could have this daily.
We both loved our wraps and our salads... made fresh for us... no preservatives... no previously frozen food...
It's been eight hours and we're still full. We can't wait to go back for other lunch choices... and maybe plan a double date with friends for a dinner night out.
Oh wait... I forgot to mention the homemade tiramisu! Yummm.... my only complaint yet again is that the portion was way too big...
