Jade is located in the Appetito food court at the Grand Villa Casino and offers fresh Asian cuisine with a varied menu with rice and noodle dishes, spring rolls and more.
Mrs. C and I were at the renovated Grand Villa Casino giving respect to Choi Sun the money god (okay, so we were gambling) and we felt pangs of hunger. After a brief survey of the available restaurants we chose Jade. The place does Chinese ready to eat fast food. It looked clean and the food seemed fresh. The server was quite enthusiastic, but I suspect this was because the place was new.
I had chow mein noodles, black bean chicken with peppers, and sweet and sour pork. My beloved gambling companion had lemon fish and more of the same chow mein and chicken dishes. The food was a little too salty for me, but Mrs. C liked it, so I am going to defer to my master and give it 3 stars. For 6 bucks you get noodles or rice and two entree choices plus a beverage, so it was a pretty good deal, even if it was not haute cuisine. There was ample clean and comfortable seating for the diners so I would say the ambiance was fine.
Overall a good bet for gamblers in a hurry.
