A sushi restaurant beside HSBC at Crystal Mall.
Mrs. C and I were at the CM getting my phone fixed when we spotted this place. I wanted to try HS on previous visits, but I always seemed to get distracted by the nearby computer shops.
The restaurant was not fancy with basic decoration, and everything was reasonably clean including the w/c. The servers/owners seemed friendly enough, and they were helpful in recommending the daily specials. Since they were getting ready to close and they were only doing takeout, they offered us free extra miso soup with our order. That was nice.
The food was good. We had combos (daily special for me and the California combo for my lovely dinner companion) plus an eel roll since I always crave BBQ eel. I was surprised that such an unassuming place could make sushi at his level of tastiness. Plus it was ridiculously cheap.
We were happy with our meal and plan a return visit soon.

My mom and I went to Honto Sushi one day while hanging out at Crystal Mall. We ordered just one thing, California Roll, since it was our first time at Honto's. The food came slowly, and it was pretty tacky when we ate it. Also really overpriced. The place wasn't very clean at all, and there was nothing special. Definitely not coming back-- I think other sushi places will fare better for me.
